It’s been years since I last dined at Burgoo—so long that I honestly forgot how their food tasted. But I always remembered it as a solid go-to spot for comfort food, and after this recent visit, I can confidently say it still holds up. My boyfriend and I went during peak dinner time (around 7 PM), and the place was packed. Despite that, the service was impressive. A male server (unfortunately didn’t catch his name) assisted us, and he was warm, professional, and efficient. Even though he was clearly busy, he never made us feel rushed. We appreciated that, especially since we were in a bit of a hurry to catch a concert afterward. We ordered three dishes, and each was served within 10–20 minutes. The service was fast and commendable. As for the food—it was great! The prices were more than fair, especially considering the huge portions. It honestly felt like we ordered enough for four people, and we ended up taking leftovers home. Everything we ordered was cooked well and tasted delicious. Overall, Burgoo still delivers hearty food, generous portions, and excellent service. Definitely worth a visit if you're craving comfort food done right.

It's been a while since we've eaten at Burgoo; we used to eat at their branch in The Block and MOA. So while around Cubao, when we discovered that they had a branch in Gateway Center last weekend, we decided to have lunch there. It was our first time in this mall & while there there were restos we wanted to try - a Mano & Grace Park. But since we missed Burgoo, we stuck with our original plan. We ordered our favorites - Grilled Pork Chops & Seafood Jambalaya. Both the Jambalaya and the gravy of the chops were bland. We were really looking forward to eating here and it was such a disappointment that the food tasted bland. The wait staff was attentive.

This is from the newly open branch in gateway mall 2. So far, this could be the most sulit meal Ive had. I still cant comprehend how this package meal is only P799, for 3pax. You get the ff: 3 drinks, iced tea or lemonade Caesar salad Tomato basil pasta Chicken parm or fish fillet with rice All the dishes are good for sharing. Big servings! And masarap. Ang konti ng salad dressing and croutons but still good. No limited time offer stated on this package.

Current branch is now at Gateway 2, Upper Ground Floor - it's near the activity center/area - above the fountain/lagoon area.

The Seafood Jambalaya Supreme is good, their Chicken Quesadilla is surprisingly better - did not skip on the cheese. Good value for money.

But the best is their service - accidentally left my wallet last Saturday there. Erwin, the manager, did not just store the wallet for safekeeping - he went out of his way to reach out to me via Facebook to message me about the wallet. That's legit...
