The food was ok. Not freshly prepared I think. We were the only two customers at 8pm on Saturday so....... There was plenty of staff around do I was surprised to be shouted at to come to the counter to collect my food. I have rarely been to taco bell and an planning to be more elusive in future. We had a wrap each which came with a few tacos and I had a cheesy potatoes side. We also had large drinks and share a portion of fully loaded nachos which all came to 800 php. All the tables seem to have wobbles which drives me absolutely honkers so I had to get down to repair the table we went for in the end - see photo. Ladies, please be aware that the toilet had no toilet paper nor was there a douche spray head available. According to Wikipedia, this was the first taco bell location in the Philippines in 2004 and it doesn't look like it has had much decorative attention in the interim. It would have been nice to see a plaque or some thing commemorating that this is the first location. Hasta...
Read moreThis is my first time trying Taco Bell since it's quite popular in the US. So I jumped at the chance when I saw it at the Araneta Centre. I ordered tacos (one hardshell and one soft shell). The lady was having problems with GCash so it took a long time to finalise my order. Apart from that the food was served fast. The ambience is modern, like Starbucks for Mexican food. However the most disappointing part is the product itself. I have tasted really great tacos in the US and what Taco Bell offered was not on par. In fact quite far from the mediocre tacos. I'm talking about bad tacos that made me feel sick afterwards. Safe to say I won't be back! Hope their food designer can read this and spend some time in Mexico to learn how to...
Read moreMy go to place for tacos, far better than Nino Burito and Pancake House. What I miss from their menu is their taco pizza and their bottomless drinks. Their menu is sufficient. They try to serve rice meals however, they are not something you will be returning here for. Burittos, tacos and quesedillas in their can fill you up. Lately though, the meat on the taco has been to oily but retains their good flavor. Unfortunately, their branches are mostly limited to the Cubao area with a token branch in Alabang. It is worth the trip to go out my way to get my...
