We went last Sunday, July 21, and got seated around 2 pm. The restaurant wasn't busy; yes, there were many people eating, but the restaurant wasn't full. It was our first time, and we were craving Chinese food. Also, we decided to eat there since it wasn't crowded, and we had a scheduled movie at 4 pm. We ordered at 2:10 pm and then waited. My partner even went to Starbucks to buy coffee. We got back, and our order still hadn't arrived. It was around 2:40 pm, and the food still hadn't been served. We noticed that another table, which came after us, had already gotten their food. That's when we decided to ask for a follow-up. We found out that the person in the kitchen didn't receive our order, so it hadn't been made. We were asked who took our order, and we pointed out the guy since he was there. The waiter did everything correctly and was sure he gave our orders to the kitchen. They apologized, but we were frustrated and lost our appetite. We told them to cancel the order and left. It's a shame; we won't be coming back. As they say, first...
Read moreOrders were Xiao Long Bao, 4 fried combo meal, wonton noodle soup and coke for my drink.
Xiao Long Bao came still cold inside. Was reheated and food I ate was not replaced.
4 friend combo meal was more than okay. I think the chicken was the best flavor wise. out of the four, pork was not my favorite. Too much fat on my portion. (Must be the only pork part available). I suggest you request for your order.
Wonton Noodle Soup was mid. (Kahit naubos ko pa) Hahaha well if di ka sanay sa wonton soup, okay na siya.
Atmosphere was excellent. I suggest go here on a sunday evening. Community in gateway 2 is good for elderly people. Free entertainment for the family!!! If gusto mo naman alone time like me, come on a weekday. Hindi matao and chill lang.
Overall experience 3 star. As someone na mahilig ng chinese food, quality for the price is disappointing.
Food I recommend would be the Roast Chicken, since nagustohan ko siya sa combo. Special Peking Duck was slightly above average, pero mas masarap siya sa isang kilalang restaurant for...
Read moreFood here is superb! One of the best places to eat Chinese food in this neck of the woods.
Ate here with the family last Sunday and I ordered a lot of stuff, and everything was delicious.
I ordered the 5 kinds roasting sampler which was composed of lechon Macau, roast duck, soy chicken, pork asado and century egg. Instead of century egg, one can opt for seaweed. I also ordered West Lake soup, salted egg yolk spare ribs, sweet and sour fish (which was a waiter recommendation), beef and broccoli (very good), a veggie dish of patola and mushroom which was very fresh and cooked just right and 2 orders of magnificent salted fish fried rice. We were a party of 6 and we still had leftovers to bring home. It was a little pricey but definitely worth it especially if you're eating here for a special occasion. Service was above average. Friendly and efficient. It was fun eating al fresco here as there is live music and dancing right in front of you at the lagoon area every weekend night. Highly recommend...
