Estrel's Caramel Cake — Restaurant in Quezon City

MY ORDER WAS RELEASED TO A STRANGER WHO HAD NO PROOF OF PAYMENT NOR MY ORDER DETAILS WHATSOEVER. SHAME ON YOUR INCOMPETENT STAFF AND POOR MANAGEMENT.

May 16, 10:39 PM - I placed and paid for my order totaling P1,280.00 for 1x 8R Caramel Cake and 1x Baked Leche Flan via GCash. Received confirmation e-mail with correct details.

May 19, 10:52 AM - Estrel's order representative (+639176220396) reached out via SMS regarding a clarification and I confirmed that the cake dedication is correct.

May 20, 12:17 PM - Estrel's store staff (+639178273689) sent an SMS saying "my cake was tken by maam". Note that I did NOT provide any authorization for my order to be released to anyone else and it was not yet my stated pickup time. I immediately responded within seconds saying that I DO NOT AUTHORIZE SAID ACTION. SEE PHOTO ATTACHED.

May 20, 12:20 to 12:32 PM - I received three additional calls from the Estrel's store staff (+639178273689) to explain their feeble attempts of the situation and poor judgment call. According to the staff, the person who took MY order did not want to return to the store. (WELL DUH!) Store refused to replace my order that they gave away and basically stole my money as they have failed to render the products I ordered.

I WILL NEVER ORDER HERE AGAIN. FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS CAKE, JUST VISIT HERE AND CLAIM ANYONE’S ORDER BECAUSE THEY DON’T BOTHER TO CHECK WHATSOEVER....

The Ultimate Caramel Cake

My all-time favorite cake is a delightful blend of simplicity and elegance. Visually, it’s charming and classic. But it's the flavors that truly captivate me, making it hard to share!

This caramel cake strikes the perfect balance—milky and creamy caramel that melts in your mouth without being overly sweet. Just the right amount of sweetness allows the flavors to shine. Adorned with adorable pastel icing flowers, its cute appearance is a delightful contrast to the sophisticated taste, which lingers with buttery notes and a hint of salt.

The cake itself is incredibly moist, maintaining a perfect sweetness level. The ratio of caramel to cake is impeccable, making each slice a moment to savor.

Be sure to order in advance, as they only offer takeout and no dine-in options. Plus, the owners pride themselves on using fresh ingredients which is a definite plus! I always feel a surge of joy when I receive a box of this cake on my birthday. It’s a true celebration...

Be here in the morning or you'll miss the cakes. If you order their cake past lunch time, there might not be any cake available for you anymore.

What's nice about their Caramel cakes is that they're always made fresh everyday, and you will need to call in advance if you request a bigger size. The caramel cakes are tasty for me, but the cakes somehow lack complexity as you'll be able to taste the same thing all throughout. Nevertheless this is still enjoyable, and is best shared with a large gathering.

The Sansrival is also quite good. The cake is served to you on a rectangular box as they only have 1 size for that. I really like the Sansrival myself, but I do hear a number of people getting sore throat after eating it so drink lots of water when eating it. Also, be prepared to workout during cutting because the cake is really hard to cut.

Lastly, the Leche Flan is also enjoyable, but some people find it a little too sweet. Be careful too because the syrup might spill if handled...
