Just had a fantastic lunch at Gerry's Grill! This place truly delivers on both food and service, making for a perfect dining experience.

The Food: Absolutely Sarap!

We ordered two of their classic dishes, and they did not disappoint:

· Grilled Pusit (Squid): 10/10! This was the star of the meal. The squid was perfectly grilled—tender and smoky on the outside, yet still soft and juicy on the inside. It wasn't rubbery at all! The marinade was a beautiful balance of savory and slightly sweet, and the dipping sauce (that classic vinegar with onions and chili) was the perfect tangy companion. A must-order for seafood lovers! · Sisig: 9.5/10! Sizzling, crispy, and packed with flavor! The sisig arrived on a hot plate with that iconic sizzle that gets your mouth watering. It had the perfect mix of crunchy bits and tender meat, with a great kick from the chili and the freshness of the calamansi. So good when spooned over a bed of warm rice!

The Service: Exceptional!

The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. They were attentive without being intrusive, checked on us regularly, and had genuine smiles. It really makes a difference when the service is warm and efficient, making you feel welcome and well taken care of.

Food: We decided to try a few classic Filipino dishes—Chop Suey, Inihaw na Pusit (a generous 550g of grilled squid, if I had to guess the weight), and Sisig with Egg. I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion sizes, all delivered piping hot and right on time. As a nice touch, they also served complimentary potato chips as an appetizer, which was a delightful surprise.
