Stockwell Café + Lounge SM City Fairview — Restaurant in Quezon City

I’m sad to say that I was disappointed with both the quality of the food and the service. The matcha latte tasted mostly like milk, that I barely tasted any matcha at all. Then, we ordered coke too, and maybe the glass wasn't properly cleaned that we noticed some residue (sebo?) showed up around the rim after a few minutes when my aunt poured in the Coke. This suggests that their staff doesn’t ensure that the glassware they put in front of their guests is properly clean for the next customer, which is says badly about their for cleanliness and food safety. And we ordered nachos and chicken tenders. The nachos felt like they were nagtitipid with the ingredients, because there were some toppings on the pieces at the top, the nachos at the bottom were left without any cheese or toppings at all, which made the dish less than satisfactory. As for the chicken tenders, I was disappointed to find that they were mostly batter rather than chicken. It felt like I was eating 3/4 of their batter used for breading with very little actual chicken inside, when I expected well-coated pieces of chicken. Additionally, the dip did not complement the chicken well either. We also ordered a clubhouse sandwich (the fries were mid), but my aunt didn’t have any comments about it. It is always nice to find a new place to eat and try near us. I am asuming that they are in the soft opening phase as most of the food in their menu is not available and there is no option yet for card payment. The first time we tried to eat here, they only had pasta to serve and there were no clean tables available. Yesterday we tried again and was informed that there were no coffee that day. Which is fine. So we sat and oredered. To my shock, their "Mixed Seafood" in marinara pasta only had 2 pcs. of shrimp and a very very very tiny calamari. I sifted through the food and really did not find anything else. We complained about it and they galdly returned the pasta in the kitchen and served it back with more shrimps. I did not return it anymore. But just to warn everuone that their definition of MIXED SEAFOOD is a lot of shrimp and a very very very very very tiny 1 piece of calamari. The linguine with truffle pasta was a bit bland for me as well but it was ok since there were a lot of mushrooms. My daughter had the porkchop and she said it was good as well. I recently visited Stockwell SM City Fairview and had the pleasure of trying their Spanish Latte and Stockwell 50/50.

The Spanish Latte was a powerful blend of rich espresso and smooth, creamy milk. Its bold flavors awakened my taste buds and gave me the perfect kickstart to my day. The balance of sweetness and intensity was simply incredible.

As for the Stockwell 50/50, it was a combination of flavors that catered perfectly to my cravings. The harmonious blend was a game-changer. It offered a unique and refreshing twist.

The service at Stockwell SM City Fairview was good though we are the only customer when we went there.

If you're looking for a place to catch up or maybe wait someone, I highly recommend Stockwell SM City Fairview since they are not that crowded when compared to other cafe.
