Review: Italianni’s – Fairview Terraces
At Italianni’s in Fairview Terraces, the familiar charm of Italian cuisine meets an inviting ambiance that makes dining feel both special and comforting. With dishes crafted for indulgence and moments worth savoring, this branch delivers a satisfying culinary experience worth returning to.
A Symphony of Italian Favorites
Front and center is the Truffle Chicken Alfredo—a rich, velvety pasta that brings together the earthy elegance of truffle with perfectly grilled chicken and al dente fettuccine. The creaminess is indulgent without being too heavy, and the drizzle of olive oil and fresh basil on top ties everything together beautifully.
Sharing the stage is the Chicken Milanese, nestled just behind, with its juicy grilled fillet resting in a creamy parmesan sauce and garnished with sun-dried tomatoes. It’s flavorful, comforting, and a perfect balance of rustic and refined.
Classic Dishes with a Twist
The Eggplant Parmigiana (second image) is a triumph of texture and taste. Lightly fried and generously smothered in marinara and mozzarella, each bite delivers gooey, cheesy bliss with just the right touch of acidity from the tomato sauce. Accompanying it is the vibrant Four Seasons Salad—a colorful medley of fresh greens, grapes, mangoes, apples, and candied walnuts, all brought together by a refreshing vinaigrette. It’s a refreshing contrast to the richness of the main dish.
A Sweet Sip to Complete the Meal
The Choco Caramel Latte (third image) is just as decadent as it sounds—creamy, icy, and beautifully balanced between chocolate and caramel. It’s the kind of drink that’s indulgent yet energizing, and the perfect finish to a hearty meal.
Atmosphere: Cozy, Stylish, Inviting
With its plush booths, warm lighting, and green-and-wood interior design, Italianni’s Fairview Terraces feels like a modern Italian bistro tucked inside the city. The setting is ideal for anything from a casual weekday lunch to a celebratory dinner.

Read moreT'was many years, since i have tried Italianni's in makati. So, when i was passing through this mall in fairview, i opted to try it again, to see, what has changed.
And, really, i don't know, what has changed. Their food or my taste buds. Because, everything seems to be bland. Not the kind, i was expecting from this fine-dine resto.
Their presentation was still nice. But there were corners being cut. Like their pizza. The ingredients are not well distributed. So, that when you share them, with your family or friends, some would be having the feeling of "being scammed"...😄. And, as i said, taste are not that outstanding. Benefits me, for i'm ok with it, rather than having too much MSG. But there are ways to boost the palate, for those of your other companions, specially the young ones, who asks for more.Halibut in angel hair pasta, was nicely presented, and tasted just ok. But the cut of meat, was really small.
The ambiance? Well, since their place is not that spacious, they have to squeeze in the chairs and tables, that makes it uncomfortable for groups of four or more to share a table. Which the staffs, are ready to remedy, by adding another small table, if available. But for a fine dining, this is a shortchange. But what's good is that, they serve good bread as a compliment, to be dipped in balsamic vinegar,...
Read moreWe tried another restaurant from the Bistro Group, thanks to a 50% discount on our credit card.
Food – It was okay. While it wasn’t the best pasta I’ve had, it certainly wasn’t the worst either. The pasta noodles were perfectly cooked.
Service – The staff were very friendly and approachable. They were also attentive to our needs, making for a pleasant experience overall.
Restaurant – The ambiance was nice. We dined during a quieter time, so it was peaceful despite the open restaurant layout. The in-house restroom was also clean.
Areas for Improvement – A few things could be improved. Some requests and dishes took longer than expected to be served. For example, I requested parmesan, but it arrived just as we were almost done eating. The pizza took a long time too, to the point where we almost forgot we had ordered it. The canned soda also arrived halfway through our meal.
These are small things to consider, but overall, it was a good first visit to the Italianni’s Fairview...
