Max's Restaurant - SM North EDSA — Restaurant in Quezon City

We are group of 7 with 1 senior, 3 kids and 1 baby. They gave us last table in a corner and served only 3 glass of water. We ordered food and were told to wait for 15mins. Later on, I was thirsty, so I asked the waitress to complete the 4 glasses of water, but she only gave us 2 and left. After waiting for so so long and so hungry, I followed up with our order, the staff had no idea, saying they would check with the kitchen and let us wait for more. For almost an house, around passed 9:30pm, seeing many people about to close stores and going home, we decided to get out bc the mall would close soon. We went to this restaurant for the first time as we're visiting from overseas. After waiting half an hour I asked the waiter to check our order and he said he forgot to enter it in the computer!! I was furious and he said he will order a priority. We were seated next to the waiters station, surely other waiters would have seen that we were waiting that long. It's just terrible management. Manager should be walking around to ensure all tables are being attended but all we saw was a security guy walking around . When the food finally came , the kare kare that was supposed to be for 2-3 people only had 2 pieces of meat. Definitely a bad first time experience for us and will never go back there and will never recommend...

The service was great. The serving size of their pata was disappointing though. Even though it was family size, it only had little meat. Most of it were bones. They also served the halo2 with some coconut that was already old. It was already hard, sour and tasted unpleasant. Nonetheless, this order was deleted from our bill. They might have missed in terms of food quality, but I would still come back here again just because of the good service and proper accountability. That alone for me makes a superb restaurant!
