Without a doubt, McDonald's is McDonald's. However I had some not so nice experience in this branch, specifically their take out counter.
Last year, I was waiting for my turn in front of the take out counter. When it was my turn, the cashier (I forgot her name) asked for my order, I told her what I wanted however, while taking my order, she was also too busy chatting with her colleagues so she missed hearing my order. She asked again, and I repeated my order. She already asked for my order the 3rd time before I got annoyed and asked her if she's already ready for my order since Ive already been repeating it multiple times. That's the time she focused and took my order appropriately. She said sorry but I still think it was an inappropriate behavior. I understand they can be really busy and chatting makes the environment lighter but work is work. They should know the boundary between working and being negligent.
The 2nd time was last night, I dont remember the name and if it was the same cashier but I ordered for a coffee float, the cashier told me it is no longer available (understandable since its already around 8pm), and offered Iced coffee with either plain or vanilla. I ordered iced coffee instead. Then on the next counter, another girl ordered for a coffee float. The cashier misheard the order and keyed in a coke float. The customer corrected her. The cashier on my end almost whispered there is no longer coffee float (maybe because she knew I was listening) but the other cashier didn't heard her and proceeded in keying in the correct order. I even heard her ask the kitchen staff if it was available and told her, yes. I didn't want to make a scene but I was really disappointed. I decided not to argue and leave.
2x is a charm so I wont be dining in this branch anymore. I know Im just nothing compared to the number of customers they get everyday but they have to know that if they continue this negligence, they will lose...
Read moreVery high traffic store. I guess it works if it’s a light day, or you have a craving that just needs to be catered to or something like that. The lines are long and there is a bottle neck at the claiming counter. Well, there’s a bottle neck everywhere in that store - when you get in - there’s only 2 of those order your food machines so when it’s a busy time, expect to take XX minutes. Then line up for the cashiers to pay, perhaps another XX minutes. Then wait for your number to flash on the screen and then wait for a service crew member to hand you your food.
By the way, because they stopped providing plastic spoons and forks, you may also find yourself waiting for freshly washed utensils on top of all the waiting you’ve already done.
They take credit cards, GCash, Grab Pay here now though so that’s one good thing. It may be better to order your food via Grab and select pick up if you’re already there. 10 minutes and you get to cut down...
Read moreShop is kept clean and neat specially during the pandemic. Ordering system both offers over the counter (traditional ordering) or an LED screen kiosk where you can place orders and card payments by yourself. Once you place your orders a reciept will be given with your order number and you just need to look and the designated led screen to monitor the status of your ordered items and pick it up at the counter once your number has been highlighted. Though besides this improved system, I really find this branch with too much lag kn how they make your orders. The word fast from FASTFOOD is nowhere has been realized sad to say. Orders take too long to make or already been made but not yet served or called out to your queue number thus it gets cold.
