Writing this a couple of months after my experience with this restaurant. Ate here on my birthday because I wanted to try this place, no prior research done on this said restaurant. The moment we came in, the atmosphere of the restaurant was radiating old and not so maintained vibe, we sat on one of those seat next to like a vip area or somesort and next to the kitchen.
The waiting time was not bad, but when the food arrived that's when it went downhill na. First of all, yung bagoong rice had too much bagoong that it was way too much. Maybe a preference thing but it really had so much bagoong on that rice and it just made me not want to eat it. Second was the Sinigang with salmon head, one word, malansa. Overall it was not a good experience eating the food there.
But the worst part of my experience was when I finished my meal. As I was taking something from my bag, there was a cockroach on the couch thing they had which I was seating on. I pointed it out to my family and some of the staff came over to check it out, since we were near the kitchen, A lot of staff was there which is another area that I did not liked when I was there. So when the staff came over to look, he did absolutely nothing, he just came to see and looked at me, just a little sorry and he went back. I know it's hard working in a customer service job but I would've liked if he maybe showed a little more concern on that matter since we are in a restaurant and we're dealing with food here.
Sorry if this became a rant but that's mostly what happened in my time there. I hope that they addressed my concern already. That experience was on march, 3 months has pass...
Read moreI would highly recommend this restaurant to people who want to introduce filipino cuisine to foreigners or for balikbayans who have been out of the country for some time. Food, in general, is delectable. Crispy pata tastes really good (crunchy on the outside, soft and tender on the inside) as well as their kare-kare. I usually add laing together with any meat I order to balance things out. Price is reasonable, pegging it at around P400-600 per head. Servings are good for 2-3 persons. Staff members are courteous and attentive...
Read moreFor the price youre paying the food was mediocre. Its nothing special to bad. The sisig was hardly what you can expect for a sisig. The boneless crispy pata wasnt even crispy. It was very chewy and looks like it got fried in9 oil that had something burnt in there previously. The only saving grace was that Bert actually offered to give u a new one or cancell the order. We opted to cancel bec at this point, we already lost...
