Pancake House — Restaurant in Quezon City

UPDATE: We visited again to avail the bdo promo. This time bawal na take out for leftovers.

Never thought may disappointing sa menu nila. I ordered their "Jumbo Burger" but only the plate was big. Regular size buns with thicker patty. Mas malapad pa burger ng zarks and burger king. Walang sauce, just cheese slice. Masarap naman.

Also, their Rootbeer float is so meh for P149. They served a can of rootbeer, glass of ice topped with vanilla ice cream. Absurd.

Their Fresh Taco Salad is still a must have for me. Tried something new and they were all good: Fish and chips set Baked Mac Kiddie mini pancake

They don't skimp on ingredients and it shows on how good the food taste.

Almondigas Soup - not familiar so we tried this. It's basically miswa with meatballs. It reminds me of molo soup. Meatballs were tasty.

Potato Salad - nothing fancy but this is actually good.

Fiesta Taco Salad - must try! The crispy bowl that it comes in was not oily at all, such a treat to eat.

Bacon and Cheese Medley Pancakes - it comes with an egg. The cheese are in the pancakes. Tastes good too. It comes with a drink.

Creamy Chicken Carbonara - I could taste they use expensive cream. Good for sharing.

Clubhouse Sandwich - yum!

Hot Roast Beef - it's kinda weird the beef is served on a piece of bread, but the beef itself was flavorful. It comes with a drink.

House Special Set B - must try! I thought each item would be in small portions but no, they were generous. This is a perfect meal for me. It even has a small piece of brownie for dessert.

I’ve had the pleasure to dine at this restaurant using my bdo promo, which i almost didn’t push through with because the staff told me their buy any 2 for 499 was cheaper.. although that wasn’t true— that shouldn’t cloud my judgment.

They weren’t so familiar also with the promo. And since they didn’t punch all my items in the receipt i paid for with the promo, they suggested I just use a senior ID so I still have a discount— versus 40% off with the promo. Hmm.. i requested they void the initial transaction so they can include the missed order. The manager admittedly told me it was such a hassle for both of us. Haha! Not so sure if it was funny, but I won’t let that ruin my day.

Over all, the place was good. The food was the usual pancake house. In this particular branch, they employ pwd staff too, which was a good experience for us. The staff although wasn’t our waiter this particular meal. He was our waiter before, he was pleasant, straightforward and will ask the questions if he didn’t quite understand what I meant.

I like it, overall. They were patient, though you no longer can take out items when you’re using the promo. So byebye over ordering to take home— which was very wise of them. It did say discount on the dine in bill. Not take out bill. So all leftovers will be left in the resto. Ahahha!

Everything a 4, because by the standards of pancake house— pretty much up to par. But still can be improved, maybe new items in the menu. Or improvement in service too.

We reserved a table so we all could be together, but they gave our table away too. No worries tho, everyone was...

It's a typical Pancake House store what else can I say. The service is fast but expect a slow down once the crowd builds up (usually in the morning since the other stores are still closed) but that slow down is still acceptable. Food is okay and they have some new drinks I haven't tried. I wasn't in the mood to experiment so I just ordered the Bottomless Iced Tea (ang walang kamatayang Iced Tea 😂 ) The place is relatively new so expect some hiccups like some food not being available or running out on some ingredients. I've experienced that like the Almondigas not being available because there was no misua, on the next visit it was the Warm Bacon Potato Salad because there was no Alfalfa to which we replied that it's ok to serve it without the Alfalfa since it was more of a garnish than an ingredient so we got that served 😆 And I praise the people there for being attentive to the details of their food.
