The reason I went here a month ago was to try their oysters, specifically their Oysters On A Half Shell. One word to describe the whole experience: disappointing. They had the audacity to charge Php 300 for 12 very petite oysters - each oyster just covered almost 1/3 of the spoon I was using. I should've taken a picture or two of how pitiful the 12 pieces of oyster shells looked like crammed side-by-side on the small plate they were served on. They were so small that all 12 pieces fit inside the circumference of the small plate. The meat on the oysters were anemic, as if they were dead for at least 2 days and refrigerated to slow down the decomposition process. I asked one of the guy servers if this is really how small their oysters are. He told me that they cannot control the size and quality of their oysters as they are delivered to their branch. Not a very smart answer to say to your customer especially if you have the word 'oyster' in your restaurant name. No quality-control and they are A-OK with that. So the customer has to play Russian Roulette with their signature dish and bite the bullet if the product is below-par. Read moreWaitresses taking their Breaktime all at the same time waited for my Bill to be taken but no one came. i took my payment to the cashier and noticed that the Cashier is also on Break. I felt so un welcome when the cashier took my bill she looked so dissapointed felt like i disturbed their chit chat with their non customer guest while taking their Breaktime and i think thay Guy is a personal Guest no Business related. I am a regular customer for years and from branch in Greenhills i told the cashier/waitress this will be reported to you superiors, "She replied go ahead it's your choice". Because of this i will never go back to this establishment we use to love this place but since they have this staffs that behave that they own this place No way for my Buddies and Business partners or any means of going back! i will never forget my experience with that Chubby...
Read moreWorst service I have eperienced in Cubao. We were the only customers inside and it took so long for our orders (only 3) to be served. There are two missing items in our order and their excused was their printer did not print the two orders (fried chicken and pepsi). Then, they changed their excuse saying the waitress who took out order was a trainee. Lame excuse. We asked for a warm tap drinking water and we have ask them 3 times before they gave it to us and they also put it in coffee cup and very hot. After so many complaints, the manager on duty (male) did not even bother to come and ask for apology. Yet, we paid automatic 10% for service charge (3 persons in our group). I do not mind paying 18% service charge if the service was ok but this one really sucks. THIS RESTAURANT SUCKS ESPECIALLY...
