When you crave Vietnamese comfort food without breaking the bank, Pho Hoa on Tomas Morato delivers with consistent quality and generous portions. Let's take a look at what’s on the table.
Beef Pho: The star of any Vietnamese meal is the pho, and this bowl is no exception. The broth is rich, flavorful, and slightly spicy, with tender beef slices that practically melt in your mouth. The accompanying fresh herbs add a nice balance, giving the soup that essential, aromatic kick.
Fresh Spring Rolls: The light, refreshing spring rolls offer a perfect contrast to the heartier dishes. Each roll is packed with fresh veggies, herbs, vermicelli noodles, and succulent shrimp. The peanut dipping sauce? Divine. Nutty, slightly sweet, and with just the right texture to complement the crispness of the rolls.
Grilled Shrimp with Rice: This dish brings the smoky, savory flavors front and center. The grilled shrimp are cooked perfectly, with a slight char that pairs wonderfully with the fragrant fried rice. The grilled pork slices on the side add an extra layer of heartiness to the meal, satisfying any carnivore's cravings.
Fried Fish Fillet: If you're in the mood for something crispy, the fried fish fillet hits the spot. The crust is golden and crunchy, while the fish inside is soft and flaky. The tangy sauce drizzled on top provides a great balance to the dish, enhancing the flavor of the fish without overpowering it.
Overall, Pho Hoa on Tomas Morato remains a go-to spot for satisfying, affordable Vietnamese fare that hits all the right notes—whether you're in the mood for a light snack or a full,...
Read morePhotos are proof that the food is really good — as always! Staff are nice too. It’s just that in this branch, there’s a lottttttt of mosquitoes flying around and customers are very much aware of it 😔 we moved from one table to another for about 3x but still they’re everywhere. Another group did the same. We saw that 2 ladies have a candle on the floor just under the table so we also requested one for us to at least not get feasted on by mosquitoes that much. Another regular customer came in later that night and asked the server “may mga lamok pa ba?” — seems like he’s aware this has been going for quite some time but he stayed of course and enjoyed a nice meal. This is not a hate post it’s just that it would be great to have a mosquito-free dining experience and would love to have my pho without mosquitoes flying accross my arms and face. Hope this could be addressed for the benefit of the customers and the...
Read moreThe food is tasty as usual, but I have to leave a bad review for this branch's service. My parents were patient enough, but the staffs keep forgetting what were asking for like hot and cold water, and tissues. We kept asking but they keep saying, “Okay.” then passing our request to each other until we receive nothing.
We also requested to put our leftover food in a take-out box/bag, which is barely touched ‘cause they made it too salty for our preference, but they didn't even budge until my mom got angry because of waiting.
I like the food and the quiet atmosphere, but my family and I felt ignored by some of the staffs, especially the woman whom we kept asking to put our food in a take-out...
