Came across this online cos i was looking for a good cochinillo resto for my bday. The cochinillo is really good - crunchy and tastes amazing. The porchetta was just so, so, the skin wasnt crispy like the cochinillo.

In terms of service, they're a bit all over the place. I booked the señorita room reservation 2-3 weeks ahead of time. I was told to give my orders 1 week before the reservation which i was able to provide, pay downpayment and they confirmed. In the morning one day before the reservation, i msged to confirm the food again to make sure everything is as planned and they confirmed. But by night time the day before, they msged to say 2 orders were unavailable and have been unavailable for more than a week already- despite giving advance order 1 week ahead and their morning confirmation that everything was as planned. I expressed my disappointment given that i paid downpayment for the food and i sent replacement orders. Then on the day of reservation, turns out the original orders were available but they didnt communicate it they just served it which confused me to be honest. And also, even if we sent advanc orders we still had to wait about 30mins before the food was served. So if youre picky with service, just be cautious of that. The cochinillo was really good tho but other than that the rest of the food...

Step into the hidden gem of Ponce @poncemnl, a place I somehow missed during my extended hibernation—pandemic years and all.

Spanish cuisine takes the spotlight, teasing me with the promise of Sangria and other cocktails that look very promising, though alas, it’s only lunchtime.

Dreams of De Cochinillo Asado del Chef and Porchetta dance in my head, but they demand more time and a bigger party.

So, we settle for the safer bet: Salad and Pasta.

The Salad satisfies, but the Pasta leaves me yearning for a punchier garlic kick—it’s Salpicao Pasta, after all.

Next time, my gut screams for Tapas.

Yet, despite the slight misstep, the siren call of Tapas, Cochinillo, Porchetta, Sangria and other cocktails ensure my return.

With each visit, I anticipate diving into a new world of flavors, where every sip is a toast to discovering new favorites and relishing in the joy of...

Everything we had was gooood!!! Carrilleras de wagyu con setas, lengua en crema de trufa blanca, risetta de trufa setas, gambas al ajilo, brie con iberico, callos ala ponce & paella negra con langostinos, turon de leche ..mmm.... No pictures because we were excited to try the food ..especially when the first person who tried it went mmm... Service is a teeny bit slow .. servers seem unhappy with what they're doing ... or are they angry .. ? i think they need to have at least a mona lisa smile ... Servers lack training ... tsk tsk ... my sister was still holding the card and when the server came with the terminal, he just grabbed the card from my sister's hand .. Atmosphere is relaxing ... you dont get a headache from the noise of everyone talking with bad ceiling acoustic...with enough parking space in front of the building .....

Honest reviews Food experience 10/10 All dish was delightful, I just wish they just served paella with the main course, all at once. Drinks were good, just had a right amount of sweetness. We have ripe and green Mango shake. The churros was a so so. In my opinion the size of the lamb was quite overpriced. Ambiance 10/10 The place was cozy. It was inviting and comfortable. They have plenty of rooms for a private group and meetings. Best time to visit is during weekdays. Just wondering because my bill reach almost 4k but I was discounted for about P153 pesos only, with my PWD ID. Been through different restaurants but this was gravely small percentage of discount..this was kinda disappointing but still I will revisit. Receipt was also posted. Overall, it was a good experience and definitely comes back to try other dishes.

We availed the 8-course degustation Valentine package. Price was okay for the experience, not too expensive. Food was flavorful and unique except for the main course Wagyu beef cheek which tasted like an ordinary beef caldereta. The wine which came with the package tasted like the bottle had been open for a while already. Ambience was so so. Fake flowers and cheap furniture. The bar looked sad and lonely. Placed at the back with only a few bottles on display. Service was poor. Staff were robotic, not smiling. The only photo I will share is this.. the resto cellphone placed on the wall beside our table. Imagine the staff walking in and out from behind you checking for messages while you're trying to have a quiet dinner.
