Current review: I say this with no official authority, but with full conviction: the dim sum here is the best in Metro Manila. Better than the stalwarts—yes, even Gloria Maris, Choi Garden, Lung Hin, Jasmine, and Empress Garden. We sampled a spread that felt like a greatest hits album: siomai, hakaw, feng chao, and radish cake.
Other dishes we ordered that technically are not dim sum, but spiritually adjacent are: tofu topped with spinach and of course, the godsend must-order shrimp spring roll we always chase down at Tung Lok (Gateway or Greenhills).
The sleeper hit has got to be the high umami coffee spare ribs with a meat-to-fat ratio that could teach other kitchens a thing or two on pork-ology.
For carbs, we had the pork and century egg congee and the beef and wonton noodle soup—both comforting, flavorful without being high in MSG and salt, and generously portioned.
Tung Lok gets a reputation for being pricey, but honestly? Everything we ordered was competitively priced (yes fresh seafood marked market price will cost you an arm and a leg). And an excellent value as you’re getting top-tier dishes that wouldn’t be out of place in HK or Singapore.
Previous review: The food we ordered: seafood fried misua, curry prawn laksa, radish cake XO sauce were all excellent. The service though was subpar, making this fine dining in Gateway 2 less classy, which is...

Oh well thats not my problem. You have 3 ladies by the cashier , standing manager out of the cashier , restaurant had only 5 tables not busy. How can they still not manage it properly ? I don't know what training they have in the cashier area very disappointed on how they handled the situation. And...
Read moreTheir seafood laksa is the most authentic and tastiest laksa I've ever eaten around the Metro. The soup is creamy and you can taste the umami in the broth soothing your mouth. The proportions' enough for two people. The noodles are rightfully thick and chewy. As a recommendation, I hope they don't put bean sprouts but instead put some greens to also have some contrast in color.
The prawn dumpling (har gao) contains lot of meat but it does not have anything to differentiate it with other prawn dumplings.
If you're really hungry, you should check them out. They can serve your food within 10-15 minutes. I would also like to commend the staff for the good service. The atmosphere is very nice too!
With everything said above, I recommend this place for people who craving or just like to try authentic...
