Din Tai Fung in BGC is an absolute gem that delivers an unforgettable dining experience. From the moment you walk in, the warm greetings and sleek, modern Asian interiors set the stage for what’s to come. Despite the bustling vibe, especially during peak hours, the staff remains attentive, efficient, and incredibly courteous.
The star of the show is, without a doubt, their iconic xiao long bao—perfectly crafted dumplings with thin, delicate wrappers and a rich, savory broth that bursts with flavor. Every bite is a testament to their culinary mastery. The Shrimp Fried Rice is another must-try, with fluffy grains and plump, juicy shrimp offering simple comfort done to perfection.
But it’s not just about the classics—dishes like the Three Cups Chicken and Spicy Wontons pack bold flavors, and their light, refreshing cucumber salad is the perfect palate cleanser. Vegetarians are also well-catered to with flavorful options.
The service is fast, friendly, and knowledgeable—the staff ensures you know how to enjoy your xiao long bao properly (vinegar, ginger, and all!). Prices are reasonable for the quality, and the entire experience feels polished yet welcoming.
Overall, 5/5 stars. Whether you’re a seasoned Din Tai Fung fan or a first-timer, the BGC branch is a must-visit for a perfect blend of flavor, quality, and top-notch service. I’ll definitely be coming back—those dumplings...

The food did not come out at the same time. We ordered 2 sharing rice, but they were served separately, and even the chicken dishes we ordered were delayed.
The Hot and Sour Soup, which should have been served with our appetizers, came late — even after the rice.
The server named Jelai, who identifies as LGBTQ, does not deserve commendation. She was rude while serving. We ordered drinks, but she didn’t approach the person who ordered to introduce the drinks or explain how to enjoy them. In short, we didn’t understand what was served. She seemed to be in a rush.
We requested 5 spoons and forks, but we only received them after asking a third server.
We were about to start our main course, but there were no large plates provided.
The service and overall experience were extremely disappointing, especially with Jelai’s attitude.
