Ambiance is okay but disappointed on how they managed the establishment. Cashier also serves as a waiter because of lack of manpower/understaffed. Also, slow on taking orders and using POS. They're manually typing the order on a special purpose machine that generates a receipt that is NOT VALID as a Official Receipt. I also got irritated because of the damn change. Please add change to your machine and train your staff to handle situations like this one. Don't have fifty pesos change? Just ask one hundred pesos next time and don't waste my time.
Food take so much time to arrived and cold! but I recommend Beef Tapa and Honey Garlic Chicken. Rice portion is good and presentation is magnificent. Pancakes are a little bit small and fruit shakes are bland.
Tried to take-out pancakes and waffles, I was surprised when the staff charged me twenty pesos for packaging and give me a receipt (note: Not Valid) with fifteen pesos printed on it.
To the owner of this branch, add some additional manpower especially on peak hours and provide Customer Service training to your staffs. I ask your staff where I can put my used plate, and he just stares at me and goes back to his work. Lastly, Invest on a good POS for fast and efficient...

This is the first restaurant I've been to in the Philippines where the cashier or worker didn't greet customers with a smile. And it just went downhill from there. We went late in the day so I guess many items were sold out. Instead of just telling us which items they currently do have, we were playing a game of battleship. Bangus tapsilog. Not available. Honey chicken. Not available. Watermelon slush. Not available. Honey chicken? Available.
So we ended up ordering the garlic Honey chicken since thats what they had. It was actually very good and plated very nicely to my shock. They give you a chicken drumstick and thigh piece. For some reason, there wasn't that much meat on the chicken, mostly bones.
Our server also just dropped the dishes on our table and left.
Again, the service here was very different from what we've experienced so far here in the Philippines. Maybe a bad day perhaps.
Many travelers tout this as bargain cheap eats in BGC. However, I don't think the prices are necessarily that bargain worthy. There are some restaurants in Uptown Mall with more...
Read moreThere are restaurants that are a dime a dozen. Serving the usual fare, that fits a common mold. This restaurant has lost that identity in many ways. The concept is framed on a breakfast menu that consists of Filipino breakfasts and pancakes, some rice toppings. They try too hard to rise above the resyt, but the offerings seem to fall short, literally. Apart from dishes you can get better anywhere else, there really is no reason to serve waffles with ube and white chocolate. Portion sizes of viands are disproportionate to the rice pairings. Expect tepid water when your thirsty. The open kitchen is due for a deep clean, especially the grease streaked window that separates it from the dining area. Though Kanto freestyle was supposed to be relatable, the fastfood chairs and tables are uncomfortably out of place. You can't be starving, as the service time is longer than expected for food that can be served within ten minutes. Parking is free, provided you leave your ID with the security guard. The place didn't leave a lasting impact for me to...
