I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. Let's start with the positives: the coffee is really delicious, even the cold americano tasted good (which is very rare). The location is absolutely wonderful, and the place is beautifully decorated, both inside and out. Now, onto the most important part, the food… what can I say, it's certainly not bad, I would say it’s just okay, but there's nothing groundbreaking about it. To be fair, we only had lunch, but it neither looked spectacular nor surprised us with its taste. We both left feeling full and satisfied, but it’s not a restaurant I would return to. Maybe the main dishes are better? As for the service... the staff seemed indifferent, practically absent. There's potential, but the restaurant definitely falls short compared to other top spots on Długa Street. There’s still a lot of room for...

They were kind enough to serve me a breakfast dish at 15, but they really should have talked me out of it because their so-called Polish breakfast is an absolute disaster. Some slices of stale bread (definitely not sliced today, probably not even yesterday), a couple of slices of tasteless cheese, a few bits of ham, tomato and cucumber, all jsut thrown on a plate like some embarrassing breakfast you assembled from a subpar hotel buffet. And the coffee.. I don't know, I see pictures of plain coffee apparently served at this place that looks good, so it might depend on how they interpret your order, but what I was served tasted like instant. Staff were really nice, but you simply can't serve this kind of stuff. Also pricy, though that would be expected because of...

Very disappointed…

The breakfast was okay and the location is beautiful – a very touristy charming street. But the service? A complete disaster.

We waited a long time before anyone even acknowledged us. When we finally ordered, the coffee arrived 10 minutes after the food. I asked for a double espresso, but was served an Americano (alright..) and a cappuccino – the cappuccino was just hot milk. I pointed it out, the waitress took it away… and never came back.

After patiently waiting, we went to the counter only to be told the cappuccino “was already in the system” – so we had to pay for a coffee we never received.

No apology, no explanation, nothing. Just bad service and zero...

Breakfast was nice. Ordered the ham and cheese toast with a fried egg. Also indulged in the bounty latte which was pretty good. The restaurant atmosphere was cozy and plenty of seating indoors and outdoors, however the wait staff was not very pleasant. If you can get passed the service the price and location make up for the lack of friendly staff. Every other Gdansk establishment has been super warm and friendly and wouldn't let the staff here change my opinion about Gdansk and how nice "almost" everyone was.

The cafe looks fine, is centrally located, and has a large menu but the food is unfortunately below average. I had the toast with avocado, poached eggs, and hollandaise sauce. The avocado paste was VERY full with onions and garlic, the poached eggs were overcooked, and the hollandaise sauce didn't taste nearly like hollandaise (most likely they got that from the supermarket).
