Pan Papuga is a vibrant and welcoming restaurant located on Długa Street in Gdańsk’s Old Town, near the Golden Gate. Our server was amazing and super attentive.

The interior is adorned with colorful murals and exotic motifs, creating a jungle-inspired atmosphere that offers a delightful escape from the everyday. 

The menu features a diverse selection of European dishes with creative twists, including Polish classics and Italian-style pizzas. Standout items include pork knuckle braised in Kozel beer served with braised cabbage and Polish-style potatoes, and BBQ-marinated ribs accompanied by fries and grilled vegetables. The restaurant also offers a variety of Czech beer specialties and handcrafted cocktails, enhancing the dining experience.  

Pan Papuga is open daily from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with extended hours until 1:00 AM on Fridays and Saturdays. Breakfast is served from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM, offering both buffet and à la carte options.

Fantastic place with chill atmosphere and absolutely wonderful ppl working in there! Friendly, professional and what's most important they did make you feel very welcome there ! We've ordered sweet potato chips, fish (pstrąg), duck leg with pear and cabbage, pizza and chicken with sauce and chips. Food was exceptional! Fresh and tasty 🙂 On top of that we had crafter's cloud cocktail (gin), beer which is always poured your way, and we got free shots on the house which was a part of game thing they have there. We had a reservation for 2 and I asked to sit us in some easygoing place, we were sit with the group of partying girls that were loud and noisy. The food was okay, we didn’t have to wait long for. Drinks - casual, but there comes service… It was terrible. Absent-minded, clumsy and not really kind (I was waiting for question „Is everything okay?” and I didn’t even expect to be asked „Do you need anything?”). It is not what you expect at the main street in Gdańsk and especially when you have already made a reservation. I thought our visit there would be better.
