Niesztuka Restaurant&Bar — Restaurant in Gdansk

Me and my friends visited Gdansk for the first time, potentially we went to similar good quality restaurants rated by more costumers, which was quite a disappointment in many ways when you expect reviews to be truth and realty is different.

We came back to NIESZTUKA Restaurant twice! The service was excellent, the food had a full palate of taste's which was well balanced top notch food, every plate I tried was better and better, my thanks to the chef! My advice to other costumers, ask what they can recommend and you will not be disappointed.

Also my compliments to the bartender. Cocktails were amazing, beautiful, full of taste and smell, no matter if you're having a drink in the evening or you come back at midnight on New Year's night, the bartender is still going to make you a perfect balanced cocktail, very experienced staff.

Finally I would like to thank the host, who was very professional and kind, I can strongly recommend Niesztuka restaurant to everyone who appreciates high quality food and those who are looking for something exquisite. This has very quickly become my favourite restaurant, and with good reason. The atmosphere is amazing, the interior is sleek, and the music is always on point. It's fancy without expectations. I can wear my everyday clothes and not worry about not fitting in.

The food is simply superb. The menu changes every once in a while, so you can come by every month and eat something different each time. You can tell that the chef puts immense thought and care into each dish. It's all so perfectly crafted.

The service is beyond incredible. We had the same server, Justyna, both times we've been, and she's absolutely incredible. She made us feel right at home. She makes great conversation and is very knowledgeable on every menu item. She has been the highlight our visit, and as amazing as the food is, without her, the experience wouldn't be complete. Just phenomenal! Where do you start - the Michelin style food? The atmosphere? The location? No, let's start by mentioning one of the best waitresses I have ever come across - unfortunately I don't remember name, but her chatter, her joy at what she does and her knowledge of the food and wine was second to none. She made our evening. The restaurant is tucked away on the terrace above one of the many amber shops, blink and you miss it, but that's what made it perfect as you get away from the main drag along the river. The food was incredible, we had scallop ceviche, beef, mahi-mahi and the amazing desert of salted caramel cream and meringue. They only offer one but the taste sensation was worth it! Our waitress paired our wines perfectly, we finished with the herby-digestif and left with huge smiles on our faces and the perfect amount of food and drink for a fabulous evening....
