I come to this place (fairly nice BTW) and we start ordering some drinks. Everything's fine, but at some point I order a couple of things and for some reason when the guy comes I take my cocktail directly from the trey. I understand you don't do that but in my mind I was helping him, of course I was wrong BTW, but he just had another glass on the trey and in no way we risked spilling something over or something. The guy told me Something like If you do that again I will spill it over you, but not like, it may happen that I spill it over you but In a threatening way, like if you do it again I will spill it on purpose. I ask him if he was serious cause I actually was wondering if he was joking or what but the guy was actually totally serious, and he talked about calling security (no security in sight BTW, maybe he was about to call batman and say this guy took his own cocktail from the trey). Keep in mind it was just us in the whole pub or a couple other people that's it. I even say sorry and say that yeah reasonably you don't take things from the trey so I'm sorry for that, but there wasn't anything malicious about it or anything so he could have said that in another tone or something but all the guy could blabber about was about security (???) or that he won't have this conversation (??? You literally initiated the conversation???) this was completely unjustified as the pub was completely empty, we weren't drunk in anyway, we didn't risk spilling the drinks etc. Again, guy could have just said to me something like "hey, don't take it from the trey cause I could risk spilling it on you, and I would have just said oh my bad, won't do that again, but the guy just went off about threats, security and whatnot." BTW I don't know where he gets this sense of...
Read moreAn overall average experience at this cocktail bar, with only a slight edge above the ordinary. Nothing major to complain about, but nothing particularly impressive either.
Visited with a friend on a weekday evening right after work. I personally ordered a gin cocktail called 'El Greco' with basil-infused gin, dry vermouth, and basil foam (If I remember correctly still). Unfortunately, it was far too strong for my taste and was not able to take more than two sips, and a little heads up -either somewhere on the menu or from the bartender- would have been appreciated really.
Another small and a bit odd detail in my humble opinion: when I ordered a large bottle of water, we were given only one glass, which seemed like an obvious oversight, considering it was meant for both of us. Don’t know if this is one of their goals, but if they aim to become one of the best spots in town, they still have a long way to go. That said, the location is nice, and I can still recommend the place for that reason...

Cocktails share their names with the great artists; you can order your favorite :) I don't think it's possible to go wrong - they are really good. I saw they also have good wine options, and some appetizers to go along (cheese plate etc).
I think it's awesome that the bar promotes local artists. Every four weeks they exibit a different set of paintings. The artist info is available for potential buyers.
I recommend this place to start off your night out! Also, it seems great for going on a date.
The bar has three seating areas, one of which is a little secluded, which makes it perfect for the larger group. In other areas, there is seating for smaller friend groups or couples.
The staff is very friendly, and welcoming.
