Wondered into here, on the brink of intoxicated on the back of a hectic day in the suburbs of Krakow.
As you can see from the behind me the place was rammed!! Never a great sign… Following that first red flag I had a quick glance at the menu - for dramatic effect - and surprisingly ordered a Ham and Cheese Pizza (pizza z szynką i serem)
The Pizza was average, so much so I hardly remember what it tasted like. It was like vanilla ice cream in a white bowl in a 3 bed semi detached house - just average.
The ham was well distributed, and in abundance almost like a Sergio Busquets passing map however the overall flavour just wasn’t quite right. A lack of flavour and cheese and a slightly over cooked base would leave this pizza much lower if it wasn’t for the fabulous price and service, £4 for a pizza is unbelievable and it was served very quickly.
The waiters must be feeling let down by the back line and you could tell their backs were sore from carrying this restaurant.
It was the Adana Traore of Pizza’s - Brought out quickly but the end product...
Read moreI recently visited Beer House for some afternoon drinks and chose the outdoor terrace to enjoy both the weather and the beverages. We were served by Yuliya, who provided excellent recommendations on white beer and wine. While waiting for our drinks, we appreciated the pleasant outdoor ambience.
The staff, particularly Yuliya and Veronika, were outstanding in their service, handling all requests with professionalism and warmth. Later, we were joined by our family for some food and drinks, and the entire team made sure we had a memorable experience. The homey feel of the terrace and the top-notch hospitality make Beer House a standout choice.
Although a group of disruptive and rude group of guests from France marred our visit, the exemplary behavior of the staff made up for it. The Beer House itself has a fantastic ambience, and we had hoped to stay longer. I look forward to visiting again under better circumstances. Overall, the place is highly recommended, and special thanks to Yuliya and Veronika for their...
Read moreThe Hostel comes with a restaurant called Beer House. So therefore we had no stay in the hostel itself, but visited the restaurant. We had a voucher from our Tavel Agcency for local tours. The voucher was valid only for a lunch from 11am to 5pm, 7 days after purchase. Meals could only be chosen by a very limited menu. The lunch comes with a starter (2 different soups and a main dish) and the hostel offered a treatment. The treatment included bread with jam. The bread was okay the jam tasted like sweet sweet bonbons (very artificial). The breadbasket was covered in old jam leftovers. We had two soups (mushroom with cream and vegetables with oatmeals). Both soups tasted disgusting. The main dishes (noodles with pesto and olives/chicken breast with potatoes and salad) were kinda l91okaish. The chicken breast was something like anything from the freezer which one can get from any supermarket. The noodles were overcooked and tasteless. The olives were fine. The employees were nice, but kinda like...
