UPD 2025: I decided to visit again 1 year later for their pho. This time for sure, not coming back again.
Waiters do not care about the guests at all. A couple of people - really working, while the rest - sitting on the phones most of the time while their guests are sitting with empty plates / glasses at their table.
Pho, the reason I came back, not worth it anymore. The broth is mainly based on spices, I didn't feel the real taste which should come from long cooking process of the bones. It felt like a watered down soup. The meat was chewy like a gum.
Overall, the prices are too high for what you get. Now it looks like a tourist trap with all said above. The pho was delicious both times I visited. But I won't come back anymore because of the service. And it's after almost 1 hour waiting in the line...
I ordered pho bo and Goi Cuon Tom (which is rolls with shrimps).
When I got my order, I made one bite and realized that there's no shrimp in the roll. I asked the waitress to bring the dish I ordered. She refused and said that I ordered this dish and nothing can be done here. What I received was Goi Cuon Tofu. As you can see, there's 'tofu' in the name of the dish, so it was impossible to mispronounce it if I don't like eating tofu. No solution was proposed by the waitress, I was left with the food I neither wanted nor ordered...
After 10 minutes she also brought me pasta with tofu! At least this time she agreed that it wasn't for our table and took it away. I still think that the rolls with tofu also could be meant for another table... But she didn't want to sort it out, it was easier to do nothing while the client is totally unsatisfied.
In the end, I paid 100% of the bill. Maybe I should have asked for a manager in that situation. But my mood was already spoiled and I didn't want to get even more upset. Instead, I will be visiting restaurants where waiters care about their customers and always re-check the order with me before passing it to...
Read moreA Complete Disaster – Worst Vietnamese Restaurant Experience Ever
I rarely write bad reviews, but this place was so incredibly disappointing that I feel the need to warn others. From the moment we sat down, it was clear that this would not be a pleasant experience. I was in high hopes cause of the feedback here.... but nahhh...
Let’s start with the food: I ordered a Thai Curry, and it was a complete disaster. The sauce had an extremely weird taste, was way too thick (almost like a paste), and came with barely any vegetables – the few that were in there were undercooked and hard. The duck meat? Absolutely awful. It was so tough and chewy that I felt like I was working out my jaw rather than enjoying a meal.
As an appetizer, I had fried spring rolls, which were overcooked to the point where they tasted burnt. The dip was just as bad – bland and unappetizing. I also tried the Pad Thai, which was shockingly bad. It tasted weirdly sour, the chicken was just as chewy and low-quality as the duck, and overall, it was one of the worst versions of this dish I’ve ever had.
Now let’s talk about the prices. Outrageous. Given the horrible food quality, I couldn’t believe how much they charged. It was way too expensive for what we got – even a cheap street food stall would have been miles ahead in terms of taste and freshness.
The service? Not much better. The waiters looked stressed the entire time, got orders wrong, and didn’t seem very attentive. The table wasn’t properly cleaned when we sat down, and the chairs were uncomfortable, making the whole experience even worse.
Overall, this place was a disaster from start to finish. Horrible food, bad service, and ridiculous prices. I wouldn’t go back even if...
Read moreBonjour Pho in Krakow offers a truly delightful dining experience that goes beyond just the delicious food. The moment you step in, you're greeted by an ambiance that perfectly blends modern elegance with traditional Vietnamese touches. The decor is thoughtfully curated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you want to linger. The service is consistently excellent – attentive, friendly, and efficient, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable meal. Even when they're busy, which they often are (a testament to their popularity!), the staff handles everything with grace. Be aware that during peak hours, there might be a bit of a wait for a table, and if you're ordering cocktails, they do take some time to prepare, but they're well worth the wait. Now, onto the stars of the show: the food! The menu boasts a fantastic selection, but a few dishes truly stand out. The red curry tofu is a vegetarian dream – rich, creamy, and packed with flavor, with perfectly cooked tofu. For pho lovers, the chicken pho is a must-try; the broth is incredibly aromatic and comforting, and the chicken is tender. And for something a little different, the grilled chicken in mango maracuja sauce is an absolute revelation – a delightful balance of sweet, tangy, and savory that will leave your taste buds dancing. Bonjour Pho is definitely a must-visit in Krakow for anyone craving authentic and delicious Vietnamese cuisine in a...
