Fable Cafe — Restaurant in Krakow

A really gret place for breakfast/brunch in Krakow not far from the old city center. The coffee was good and the food tasted amazing! The portions are big, truly filling and really tasty! Love the innovative combinations! I took the bacon sandwich and that’s a 10/10 for sure. The only thing was that the service was a little slacky or maybe we just didn’t know how it works there but we came in and sit down while the service was actively trying to avoud eye contact so we had to go get our menus and order ar the bar. Where to begin? The food as a whole was so so good. I’m going to start with the show stopper, the pancakes with caramelised cherries and whipped cream. They were easily the best pancakes my partner and I tried (and he toured the US for 1 and a half years). The pancakes were fluffy and juicy, the whipped cream was buttery, combined with the cherries was moorish. We were super greedy and started with the fable breakfast, which was delicious too. I am in Krakow on the regular basis and I have been to a number of cafes around town but I am very glad to have found this little gem. This is now, by far, my favourite cafe and definitely best breakfast in town. Their toasts are made using very nice, crispy, home baked, sourdough artisan bread. The manu contains interesting, healthy, modern dishes that taste amazing. I also love their selection of cakes - absolutely delicious. If you are there do try Spartak or Napoleon cake.
