Ammended - 26th of September, 2020:
Today's visit was, in one word, a disaster. Utter disaster. Like before, we went to the restaurant to have our favorite pizza experience anytime we're in Krakow, but this time... Out of 5 Pizzas that we ordered, only 2 were served to us correctly. The other three:
1 - Two had an unordered extra cheese crust. In one case, it wasn't as much of a problem, but the other - My friend is lactose intolerant, so extra cheese was a little bit of a no go. The friend specifically ordered a pan style pizza and mushrooms swapped for corn. 2 - After correcting the waiter that he didn't want cheese crusts and couldn't eat the pizza that way, his meal was re-made... Only to be delivered wrong again. This time, it came as thin crust pizza style with mushrooms and without corn. If he wasn't getting sick from hunger, he would have asked once more to correct the mistake... But he was starving, so he decided to eat the first pizza. The thin crust was an issue as a thicker crust would help him digest the bit of cheese that was on the pizza itself otherwise... 3 - My pizza was somehow swapped for a hawai instead. So... I, too, had to wait for one more pizza to be made from scratch. 3.5 - Even before the new pizza was made, I received the dessert, that I asked to be postponed till after I eat the actual main course. 4 - When trying to pay, we were told that, in order to pay separate, we had to tell the waiter when we arrived. We were not made aware of this fact. And during the two visits before, it was never an issue to pay separate. Now, apparently, it was. What?
So, although the two visits beforehand were always nice, this time, it was a horrendous experience that we were all happy to get out of. And only thanks to that, I am lowering the rating from 5/5 to 3/5. Hope next time will be better.
A full, sit down, all service kind of pizza hut experience! Anytime I'm in Krakow, I make sure to stop by this place for a delicious, fresh pizza, including all the luxuries of a full service? beginning with a waiter who seats you down, through delicious pizza, possible drink refils ( you only order one kind at a time though, can't mix) that are brought to you in actual glass pitchers.
Pizza offers are a bit basic, but what they lack in variety, they make up in taste. Delicious. Pizzas there can be made San Francisco style, deep pan style or with cheese filled crusts.
Restaurant also offers desserts, appetizers and a decent selection of drinks. All the while you are in quite cozy and calm environment.
Will definitely...
Read moreUnpleasant experience, waited 20 minutes for lemonade, and another 10 minutes for 2 small pizzas. The dishes were all shabby and dirty. When we asked to change the glass because it was dirty and had some streaks, they brought the same glass, but washed, but it had so many scratches that apparently bacteria had already penetrated it, which is why it was impossible to wash the dishes properly. The pizza board was also all scratched, old and it was unpleasant to eat from it. The food was generally pleasant to taste, although a bit greasy in my opinion. But the drink was something else. We ordered YELLOW PASSION FRUIT 1L lemonade, I will attach a photo of how the drink looks on the menu and how it was served in real life. It is just lemonade with orange slices, it tastes sour, and there is a topping at the bottom (which has no taste, it is just sweet and does not dissolve in water even if you stir it). But the most unpleasant disappointment is that the menu says that the ingredients include passion fruit puree and a hint of wild berries. But in fact, the amount of these ingredients in the drink (if they are there at all) is probably so small that you can't feel them at all. You can only feel the taste of lemon and a little orange, and it's not even sweet. And no, they didn't mix up the type of lemonade, since the menu didn't have anything similar to what they brought us. There were a few pieces of lemon and orange, yellow-orange water, and topping at the bottom, that's all. In general, we were completely dissatisfied and have no desire to come again. I understand that we could have asked to redo the lemonade, but unfortunately we were afraid that they wouldn't understand us since we don't know Polish, so we didn't even think about it. And in general, we could have refused the order, but we were very hungry and came with the intention of having a good time and eating, and it was very hot and the dishes were dirty. As for me, cleanliness is the basis that every cafe or restaurant should have, that's why the rating is so low. And the prices for such quality of services provided are very high. I hope this establishment will listen and correct this...
Read moreWas looking forward to this visit to Pizza Hut as you don't see many in Ireland. The last one I went to was in Szczecin. it was amazing and I was excited to come back.
I soon deflated as we were left standing at the "please wait to be seated sign" for nearing 10 minutes, all the while having the waitresses and waiter glance at us without taking a step in our direction. Eventually we just grabbed our menus and sat down at a booth that had already congealed liquid from the previous customers food.
Eventually a woman who looked like she would rather be at her mother's funeral showed up to clean and take our order. That was all fine but we were waiting for around 30 minutes and during that time we tried gesturing to order dip but there must have been a blind spot directly where we were sitting as no amount of looking them in the eye could coerce them into coming over.
We were halfway finished with our pizzas when the sauces arrived. By this time all there was to dip were mainly the crusts as we were starving but honestly the crusts dipped in the honey mustard sauce had more flavour than the topping on my vegetarian. Not to mention that pan base that was so stodgy that it felt as though any subsequent food I ate would bounce on it.
All in all it was a disappointing meal and I would never go back to this particular pizza hut, and I recommend that perhaps the servers choose a different attitude or a job away...
