Taco Mexicano — Restaurant in Krakow

Today, I dined at The Taco Mexicano, and while I was eager to try their offerings, the experience was a mixed bag. The highlight of the visit was undoubtedly the staff—warm, welcoming, and attentive. Although, a lot of drunken guys around, and quite loud.

However, the food left much to be desired. Almost everything on the menu seemed to be deep-fried, and the freshness that you expect from a good taco place just wasn't there. The tortillas were greasy, and the fillings lacked the vibrant flavors you'd hope for in Mexican cuisine. It's a real shame, especially since we had high hopes for the meal based on the restaurant's inviting atmosphere.

In summary, while The Taco Mexicano delivers on service, the food quality doesn't quite hit the mark, particularly if you're looking for fresh and authentic flavors. Here's hoping they tweak the menu to let the ingredients shine through...

We wanted to have some evening snack + drinks + coffee in the evening at Easter but we didn't want to be in some fully booked restaurant on the Grodzka -street so we accidentally found ourselves from Taco Mexicano.

Food was cheap and alcohol also quite cheap. Food was tasty, made well and our waiter was nice. Had some margaritas, vodka and rum shots. Waiter was only kinda surprised at that point when I ordered a brandy with my coffee :) Brandy was good also... as was coffee. Would have wanted a cognac, but surprisingly that was something that was very hard to find from restaurants, stores or even at the airport.

Anyways, Taco Mexicano was so good that we thought about going back to that place in 2 next evenings instead of exploring other places, well, we ended up exploring other places, but Taco Mexicano would have been better choice......

2yrs ago I rated with 2 stars. I just visited the place. 5 stars. Why: Good service (it is after 3pm so busy lunch time in Poland). Place is full but staff manage it well. Burrito great ! Small hint: order very spicy only if you really like it. I love spicy food, jalapeños I eat for a breakfast. But here I had to ask for a glass of milk. It is served nicely and the large portion is really large. Maybe not looking but I left the place very full.

No one came to us after and ask if we need anything else. I had to go to the bar and ask for a bill... I left money on the table but after 10min waiting noone came to collect them... I left and I hope that...
