SETTE PIZZA NAPOLETANA — Restaurant in Krakow

The best pizza i have ever tasted! Visited several times, because I really fell in love with pizza here. And also because it’s near the Wawel castle, so we took takeaway pizza, sat on the Visla’s grassy riverside and enjoyed the view of the Castle in sunset rays. I don’t really remember the dishes’ names, but here’s what we tasted: salad with octopus - huge octopus tentacle with salad; risotto - delicious fillet mignon with risotto; pasta, i think it was great tagliatelle with shrimps; bunch of pizzas: hot (and my favorite) diavola, pesto, primavera, bianco (don’t recall the name). The best pizzas i have ever tasted. Now i miss that taste a lot. desserts: panna cotta, and the one called Budino. Both delicious. I highly recommend to take Budino for your kids - it’s like sweet calzone pizza. The interior is good - great shiny gold oven and pizza-chef meet the guests. Chairs, couches and table are quite comfortable. By the way, we could watch our pizza is being prepared and baked - it’s like magic - 2-3 minutes and hot pizza was ready. Unfortunately our last experience with this restaurant was terrible. As for the food - it was ok. Service, however, was shameful: (1) the waiter told us to go downstairs despite the fact we had a stroller and offered no help with the stairs - just watched; the place was almost empty but many tables were dirty - clearly he was to lazy to clean them; (2) we waited very long for him to take the order (the place was, again, almost empty); (3) he shouted at me and my kids few times - only because my kids wanted to see something in the room open to customers which the waiter for some reason decided my kid cannot see (sic!); (4) he made fun (in public!) with another person (cook?) about one of the customers who went to toilet - zero professionalism and simply mean behaviour. I live nearby and would be a frequent customer and recommend it to my airbnb guests but after what happened...

I wish i could’ve tasted the food, sadly the service I received didn’t allow me. I came to this place because it’s supposedly the best pizza in krakow, I went there with friends, there was a sign telling us to wait so we did, after 10 mins no one came so one of us went to the cashier, the girl was rude and told us to wait. Then the waiter came and asked us how many of us were with an “I don’t care attitude”, and he just said there’s no table (he didn’t even check), we asked if he could check in the back so he went and told us he could sit us but in two different tables, the whole service we received had already thrown us off so we just walked out of the place. Hopefully they can improve their service because if they’re really the best pizza in krakow, the service they’re providing is just pushing...
