The moment I stepped inside, I was struck by the restaurant's beautiful setting, which created a warm and inviting ambiance. When we mentioned our plans to visit the bar after dinner, one of the waiters, Joanna, went above and beyond and secured a table for us, ensuring that our evening continued seamlessly.

Speaking of which, I must commend both waiters, Joanna and Maciej, for their expertise in whisky and cigars. Their in-depth knowledge added an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience. They were able to recommend the perfect pairings, making us feel like true connoisseurs.

I have enjoyed meals here whenever my path crosses this hotel, more times than I can count and became a regular - This particular restaurant is stationed in a quiet area in close proximity to center, It is - unpretentious luxury, understatedly elegant yet not ostentatious, genuine hospitality to those who show respect, the quality of food, drinks, interactions and conversations(I don't like to call it service) and comfort is best summarised as Cream Of The Crop. If you enjoy private luxury that doesn't scream, if you sometimes enjoy a glass of Macallan in your tailored suit alone, prefer quiet luxury, and appreciate the depth of beauty and art of slow life - business or life. This place is like a missed opportunity. It is beautifully furnished, the service is impeccable but the chef has an identity crisis and no idea which direction he or she is going. This is based on a 7 course New Years Eve gala dinner, meat less option. All the dishes were boring, unimaginative, zero direction, no use of local produce, all fish dishes were technically unacceptable as the fish was over cooked, the beetroot carpaccio was okay but a lazy choice for gala dinner, the goat cheese dish was ridiculous. When you are attached to Bachleda name you probably have access to the best local produce so why not utilize it? Trying too hard to be international while you could excel with local deliciousness. The worse course was the dessert which was supposed to be Sacher Torte, clearly the chef never went to Vienna to see how it should be done. All that seems like missed opportunity.
