I went for a date with my wife. I booked table a few days in advance - asked for a one inside due to rainy weather. On entrance stuff told me I have a table outside. Fortunately, I got a one inside (it was raining that time).
Menu is slightly overloaded - if someone is not sure what to eat, a lot of positions don’t help at all. However, food quality is good. I can also recommend Magic Lemonade - quite expensive but tasty :). What I appreciate, excellent service. I didn’t have to wait for waitress, get orders quite soon and all the time my waitress was very kind and helpful.
What I missed here - I didn’t find kids menu. Additionally, there is no GSM signal on -1 level so keep this in mind if you need to stay in touch. I didn’t like soundtrack from previous decade and... finally, overall look/finish of the plate could be better. Food is tasty but it just looks casual. This is not a big disadvantage, but direct competitors (I mean restaurants with similar price tag) take care also of visual aspects of their dishes and you feel you got small piece of the culinary art.
So if you want to eat tasty and feel you have a choice - you can give Magia a chance. But if you look for a place, where all details are perfect and each dish is not only tasty but also looks like a piece of art and you want to impress your wife or girlfrliend... I am not sure if Magia is the best pick. But it is my personal opinion.
All the best for the stuff and owner! I may come back here...

I had the pleasure of dining at Restauracja Magia, and it truly lived up to its name. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by the cozy, charming atmosphere of the vaulted interior—warm wooden accents, candlelight, and thoughtful decor made it feel like a hidden gem in the heart of the Old Town.
The food was exceptional. I started with a delicious herbal tea with walnuts and spices, served beautifully with clove-studded orange slices. It was aromatic, comforting, and perfect for a winter’s day. As a starter, the creamy pâté paired with a fresh selection of house bread was rich and flavorful.
For the main course, I enjoyed perfectly cooked dumplings (pierogi) in a delicate wild mushroom sauce, bursting with earthy flavors. The steak was another standout—tender, well-seasoned, and accompanied by golden baby potatoes and grilled vegetables. Every dish was beautifully presented and clearly prepared with care and local ingredients.
Service was attentive and kind without being intrusive, and the staff made sure every detail was spot-on.

Read moreVery bad service, extremely slow. I sat there on Friday night. A bunch of drunk men were shouting out loud in the table near me. The waitress was loughing with them instead of silencing them. Little fleas were flying around my head as if I was near a garbage can. I ordered beer & food including a starter. I only received my beer. The waitress did everything possible to avoid eye contact with me. After more than 20 minutes since ordering I went to another worker and asked to check with my dishes. He never came back to me. After 5 more minutes I went to my waitress and asked what about my food.. she replied "the restaurant is full so it takes time but I will check". The restaurant was not fully packed. After 5 minutes in which she did not bother to come back to me and more than 30 minutes since ordering, I left money for the beer on the table & left. The waiter called behind me "I have your food!" to which I replied "Thank you, I am not interested, it took too long" to which she replied "OK, bye!" Apology? No way. Terrible, pathetic, insulting experience. Very slow & very low...
