Billy's American Restaurant — Restaurant in Poznan

I've been to a few American themed restaurants in Poland now, Jeff's in Warsaw, Sioux in Kraków, and now Billy's in Poznań. I can say Billy's is the most authentic American cuisine out of the three. While they still have a few items with names that gave me a chuckle as an American, it is obvious that the owner(s) of Billy's has been to America, tried actual American food, and emulated it the best.

When the onion rings first arrived at the table, I knew the rest was going to be good. Unlike with the other places, Billy's battered the rings properly, making them both crunchy and flaky. The New Orleans shrimp soup had a nice gumbo-like spice to it that my wife loved. The burgers have a bit more vegetables on it than I'm used it, but the Jack burger was excellent nonetheless. Even the fajitas were done properly and came with the correct sides, all of which were great. I was a bit concerned about the popcorn in the peanut butter shake as that is not something I've seen before, but it worked well together.

I have also been asked by the server to mention her name. Iza did very well serving us. Everything arrived hot, and she was attentive.

As a side note, this is yet another plea by me to American style restaurants in Poland to carry root beer, if not by itself, for root beer floats. It is a classic dessert in...

I've booked a table at Billy's to celebrate my birthday and I definitely didn't regret it. It was half a year ago, when I've discovered Billy's - I was wandering around the Stary Rynek, taking pictures, when I saw this restaurant. I thought, that I should go there sometime, but I didn't have an occasion for it back then. When I was searching for a restaurant to celebrate my birthday, Billy's randomly popped up in Google Maps, so I decided that it was a chance. I really liked the all-known "American vibe" and the American dishes. I was also expecting to hear a lot of rock'n'roll there, because it's what I really enjoy listening to everyday. My expectations were fulfilled and I spent my time in the best way possible. It was really chill and comfy there and the staff were also nice. Me and my friends have spent a good time at Billy's and I would go there again to try other stuff out and to experience...

I don't know why i haven't written a good review already for this place, as I have been here several times already with a friend for steak and just recently attended their super bowl watch party!

So it goes without saying that I absolutely love this place! The steaks and the sides that they come with are absolutely delicious and always enjoyed having them for dinner after I hit the gym hard! Also, the wings that I had while watching the super bowl was like winning the big game in my mouth!😁

Maybe the menu itself could provide a bit more info about the wings, like how many that come and not just the weight in grams, but this isn't necessarily a bad thing that that info isn't there and it turned out to be a nice surprise for me in the end anyway, so overall, no complaints!
