We came here for a yummy lunch right after Garbicz Festival, I was crazing for some yummy nice meal after eating at the festival for 5 days. I love the ambience & elegant design of the dining room, we picked a table outside because we want to have the perfect view of the Proznan Tower Clock Plaza. My first course was the Cauliflower soup with fluffy cheese flavour cream & green oil, it was delicious, savory milky broth. My Sayang had the Traditional sour sausage soup. It was hearty homey intense sour soup but surprising additive. Then we both share the most popular dish, the Traditional Proznan Roasted half piece of Duck with Chinese Steam Buns & Cherry Cabbage picked source. The presentation was delightful & I am so impressed by their steam bun, they are softer & moist hot steamy buns as good as the original Chinese steam buns, the half.a duck was a decent good size for both of us, the meat is perfectly hot & tender, skin is just crispy enough & not much fat. You must try eat the skin with the duck meat as they compliment each other. The source is slightly sweet savory & creamy, intensely yummy so you donāt want to pour too much source on the duck as it could over cast the natural duck flavor. I highly recommend this restaurant, they waiters are gracious, handsome, speak very good English, I wish we were more hungry to try their dessert. we will be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe ate dinner on their patio, facing the Old Market and City Hall. What a view!
The service was great and quick even though it was a very busy night.
The menu had a wide selection of regional dishes as well as many national favorites. We ate PoznaÅ's most classic dish, which is roasted duck served with puff-dumplings and the silkyest sauce. It was delicious.
Btw. The bigger part of the restaurant, bar, and bathrooms are located in the stylish basement. I liked the exposed brick and beautiful paintings. Looked like a great place to hold a cozy yet festive event.
Go here for: a company dinner or family dinner party.
Order: regional starters, tatar with pickled forest mushrooms, kaczka po PoznaÅsku [duck], seasonal specials [especially asparagus in the spring and goose or wild game in the autumn].
Drink: local beer, aged vodka, modern cocktails.
I am sorry there is no picture to the review - the food and spirit around was so great, we just lived in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was the best restaurant meal we have enjoyed in many years. It truly was exceptional! We had travelled to Poznan for a 4 night break with our friends. As it was their 31st wedding anniversary on our second night we decided that we wanted a special meal. A UK based friend who is originally from Poznan recommended the RATUSZOVA Restaurant. We were not disappointed! The food was interesting, visually stunning, beautifully cooked and so so tasty. Honestly, my steak melted in my mouth. Our waitress was sensitive, attentive and helped to make this an amazing 5 star experience! Our meal cost us 1300 zloty in total: the equivalent of Ā£65/ā¬70 each person! It was truly a bargain at that price! I donāt think Poznan can offer a better dining experience! A huge āThank Youā to the chef and other kitchen and waiting staff at RATUSZOVA. If we come back to Poznan, we will definitely be coming...
