BBQ & Vegan by Luizjana — Restaurant in Toruń

We were waiting 15min outside to be seated, nobody came so my husband came inside to look for stuff. When the waitress was taking order, I mentioned twice I want it medium, can be even rare. Steak came overdone, taste of the meat-nothing special, after waiting so long I was expecting the greatest steak of all times. if you're looking for a nice steak go 300m further and there is a steakhouse on the same street. The lady came and asked if everything is ok, I said no, steak is overdone, she took the plate and came back 15min later when my husband was done with his food. We both eat alone. When the lady was presenting the bill she mentioned nothing like we offer you 10/15% discount because of the inconvenience or we took the drinks of your bill. Nothing. So I asked her and she (totally scared and surprised) offered free dessert for both of us (after the payment and after my question sic!) I choose chesscake and my husband ice creams. Few minutes later she brought only the cheesecake, no ice creams, again I was eating alone. In the meantime my husband left 30zl tip, after what I saw, I took that tip and bought him icecreams somewhere else, how disrespectful was waitress...

My new favorite place in Torun! From the moment I stepped over the threshold, I was captivated by the atmosphere of the place. A very unique interior that at the same time gives the vibe of being at home. The Christmas playlist made me feel like I was in a Christmas movie on special dinner haha Very friendly and fast service. I ordered the vegan ramen and even though it's not an Asian restaurant, it was one of the best and deeply spammy vegetable broths I've had. The portion was huge and definitely worth the price. My friend ordered vegan chicken burger and the other one ordered chicken and they said it was the best burger and chicken they ate so far! Plenty of vegan options! From starters to desserts. I will definitely be visiting there again in a short while. And also lemon sorbet was so refreshing,...

Edit Odwiedziłam lokal po pół roku dwukrotnie i moje wrażenia są mieszane . Pozostawiam 4 * ale obsługa ma jeszcze trochę do nauczenia się . Zaoczne od zalet : duży wybór dań mięsnych wegańskich i ryb oraz kilka dań bezglutenowych pyszne lemoniady lokal psiolubny w środku i na zewnątrz duży wybór przystawek również wegańskich wygodne krzesła w środku z poduszkami bezproblemowa rezerwacja stolika

Minusy : część kelnerek brak znajomości wiedzy z czego składa się dane danie co chwilę chodziła do kuchni by pytać - bardzo nieprofesjonalne mięso do burgera prosiłam mocno wysmażony dostałam średni podczas pierwszej wizyty możliwość bezproblemowa rezygnacji z składników dania podczas drugiej wizyty kelnerka stwarzała problem brak deseru w wersji bezglutenowej szkoda że nie ma kawy bezkofeinowej oraz roślinnego mleka ( prócz owsianego)

Danie główne -: burger i karkówka z maniokiem. Burger spory podany z frytkami i sosem. Karkówki przepyszna w delikatnym sosie i przepyszną sałatką. Lemoniady bardzo smaczne chłodne i owocowe. Miejsce przyjemne ceny umiarkowane. Psiolubne miejsce pieski mile widziane w środku i na zewnątrz Minus - bardzo duszno w toalecie, brak poczęstunku przed daniami, trochę słaba musztarda w burgerze. Byliśmy po roku od wcześniejszej wizyty po za sezonem w poniedziałek. Zamówione dania : krem z pomidorów, burger oraz danie z kuchni kreolskiej.Oczekiwanie na kelnerkę z kartą 3 min , podanie napojów 10 min podanie przystawki 30 min od złożenia zamówienia i kolejne 20 min na danie główne Obłożenie lokalu kilkoro gości ..
