Żywioły Bread&Bistro — Restaurant in Warsaw

This used to be one of my favourite places to have breakfast, and the daily menus and the adjacent bakery are quite attractive, too. Unfortunately, the quality of the food gets dragged down by the hostility of certain members of the staff. Not an uncommon thing in Poland, unfortunately, but until recently, Zywioly was a nice exception. But if a waitress tells you at 11:50 that breakfasts can't be ordered after 11:50 (although the menu says 11:55), and if the mean girl at the bakery counter basically punishes you with her tone and expression for your mere existence, you don't really feel like coming back... There is a plenty of similar places to choose from.

(Edit after a few months) So, I decided to give Zywioly one more chance. I came before 11:45. I was shown to my table directly next to the entrance so in the following 30 minutes I had a lot of opportunity to observe guests coming in after me, all of them getting menus, ordering, one of them even being informed by a waiter that breakfasts could only be ordered within the next 5 minutes (it was 11:55 by then, so obviously the decision who is allowed to order breakfast close to noon is an autocratic one). It's 12:15 and I haven't been even given the menu let alone the possibility to order. So I'm leaving and I'm done with this...

This is genuinely the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Firstly, it took us 15-20 minutes from sitting to flag down a waitress to place our order. We then waited another 20-30 minutes to get our food, of which our drinks never came. When we asked the waitress when the drinks would arrive after she brought us the food, she was incredibly dismissive and told us to wait as the baristas were busy. Mind you, we ordered 2 cappuccinos and 2 bellinis with 3 baristas working behind the counter. By the time we were done with our food, our drinks still had not come… this is not normal. We looked around, and other tables that arrived after us had already received their drinks. We decided to leave after this and cancel our drinks, because who drinks their beverages after they’ve already finished their meal??? We understand this is Europe and service is slow, but this is beyond appalling… The food was also disgusting. I think they poured melted cheese over the eggs benedict where they’re supposed to use hollandaise sauce, as advertised on the menu. Because they waited so long to bring us the food, the cheese solidified and it was by far the most disgusting eggs benedict I’ve ever had in my life. Don’t go here!!! If I could give 0...

we recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and I must say, it was a delightful experience. We were greeted with warm and friendly service from the moment we walked in. The ambience of the restaurant was inviting. making it the perfect setting for a lovely meal.

The menu offered various options, all of which sounded incredibly delicious. I ordered pumpkin Gnocchi and my wife and wife's friend 2 drinks. we were not disappointed and price were fair enough. Not only was the food exceptional, but the service was impeccable as well. Weronika was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring that our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. indeed Weronika making us feel welcome and comfortable. Her pleasant demeanor and professionalism truly enhanced our dining experience.

I was thoroughly impressed with her service. She is a true asset to the restaurant and made our visit a memorable one.

Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Whether you're looking for a romantic date night spot or a place to gather with friends and family, this restaurant is sure to impress. I will definitely be returning in the near future to indulge in more of their...
