During my recent visit, I was left disappointed by the overall experience. The pizza was served promptly, but this might explain its lack of proper cooking. The texture was watery, with none of the firmness or balance expected in a well-made pizza.
Service was the most glaring issue and can only be described as bad—very bad. The staff seemed inattentive, and a friendly smile or more effort in customer care could have made a significant difference. Unfortunately, this lack of hospitality overshadowed the experience.
The ambiance also fell short. For an Italian restaurant, the music should complement the environment with Italian classics or even some sophisticated jazz. While I appreciate hip-hop music, it clashed with the setting and undermined the overall dining atmosphere.
Adding to the disappointment, the water glass I was served looked unclean, which is unacceptable in any dining establishment.
On a positive note, the wine selection was reasonably priced, which added a slight redeeming factor to the evening. The restaurant's pricing in general is friendly, but unfortunately, poor service, subpar food, mismatched ambiance, and lack of attention to cleanliness overshadowed...
Read moreSadly I don’t get it why this place has got such a good reviews. We’ve had ordered a pizza, pasta and calzone but all this felt very heavy and tasteless. There was even no salt nor pepper provided. The waiter didn’t seem to bother to offer some of their meals i.e. parmezano etc. We paid a visit to this place over the Christmas period with a hope we’d experience a proper oven/stone baked Italian cuisine, yet I’d say that even Pizza Hut seems to be way better than this. The good thing is that the customer service was extremely professional and went beyond and above to meet our expectations in comparison to many other local polish shops and restaurants in the area. Also a good idea is the offer a tap water :)2 stars only for a desert is what I’m rating most (mine one also felt way too heavy and then stomachache followed). Low quality, low rating, not to be...
Read moreAnother gem in Warsaw. While I may not be so much as a fan of Neapolitan pizza, this definitely was great bang for the buck. For 2 - the Focaccia, 2 pizzas and 2 beers landed below 30euros, which in the middle of city is very cheap, in my opinion.
Only drawback, as the place is rather huge, they might do with another waiter or so, as they running more than being around tables. After deciding I would like to pay, making an eye contact with anyone was near impossible and even then, nobody came by. Had me get to the bar and ask the girl who sat us. And yeah, she looked mildly infuriated, presuming so because she wasn't writing down the orders and I may have distracted her. Yeah, that's another big no, from someone who's worked in industry for a long time. Food 5/5, prices 5/5,...
