SLA Warsaw | Restaurant, Shisha, Cocktail Bar, Night Life — Restaurant in Warsaw

This place is very scammy… or at least our server made it feel like that. She kept rushing us to finish our wine bottle, but come back every five minutes and pour more wine into the glass, even though the glass was full way past the fill line of a wine glass. It was very clear that she was pressuring us to finish the bottle faster so we can order another one on top of that. But it wasn’t a subtle pressure. It was a very intense and rude pressure. And this was a 400pln bottle of wine. And when she dumped the last bit of the wine into our glasses while they were full to the brim, instead of asking me, the person who is paying, she asked my date, in Polish, so I didn’t even realize she put another order in until she brought the bottle over and opening it. And when I asked her to stop politely, she didn’t listen and continue to open the bottle until I finally scream at her “HEY STOP”. As a result of the server pressuring us so much to drink faster my day got really drunk, and then they kicked us out of the restaurant, and had to end my date early and send her home. Awful! We came there with my friend, we did not have a reservation. Once we were on entrance , they told us that they have free places near the bar, BUT no one mentioned there are no chairs near the bar, so you have to be on your legs all the time… So we paid 30 pln to get into the lounge.. Once we decided to stay there and order a shisha, even though WE HAD TO STAY ON LEGS, barman told us they don’t serve shisha near the bar, while lady on receptions told us they do. IT IS NOT EVEN THE WORSE PART. Once we found a man, who was probably the manager (who was actually the only normal person) he told us that he’ll solve a problem and we can smoke shisha near the bar. So that we went back, to the same Barman and once he heard that we are not planning to order any drinks and want shisha he told us “go find shisha man then”. SERVICE US AWFUL, SP DISAPPOINTED. P.s. I was skeptical but since my friends picked it I was overruled. Well my predictions came true. Insanely expensive and it’s probably because they go more for quantity, looks rather than quality. I don’t mind paying as long as the food is good. I got the duck and a cheesecake. No alcohol. I don’t remember being so sick from food before and I’ve eaten at some dodgy food stalls. I purposely ate light before our outing because everyone was raving about how good it was. Sorry but spending hours in the bathroom afterward is not my idea of a good night out. Also, the restaurants turns into a club after hours that costs 200zl a person. Since I don’t drink I was not about to spend that much just to stand around and drink water. Good thing I left when I did because I barely made it home before getting sick. No thanks. I’ve seen 3 restaurants in that same spot in the past few years. Let’s see how long they last.
