I invited my relatives to the Kuk restaurant but the experience was awful due to service. We arrived on terrace but no one came to sit us, waiters were all busy with service and the ones who noticed us just ignored. I took the initiative to ask some waiter for a place but he asked for reservation I confirmed we just came spontaneously and he said so no place for you, I suggested what about inside and he said yes you can try there. I admit I really like the hotel place and architecture but the waitress 'Paulina' in the restaurant indoor made our afternoon full of negativity. She was quite rude and not welcoming. Her face was tense and she wasn't smiling as if she wasn't happy we came inside, there were barely only two people. Moreover, when we tell her thank you after she serves something she just leaves without saying a word, which is not the hospitality behaviour I would expect in such a fancy hotel that I visited many times before. We ordered desserts and drinks and stressed we want the non alcoholic one but quite later myself and one relative started to feel bad and all the time sneezing, I am not sure if the waitress ignored our ask but definitely the drink had something alcoholic. We continued to feel faint and bad till the next day with a terrible headache. I do not recommend this restaurant and definitely would be my last visit. It would be more appropriate that you choose staff that represent the Polish hospitality and more importantly the brand of the hotel in a sympathetic and...
Read moreThere are good things and not so good things, let's take this restaurant as a place with a lot of potential if some points can be corrected. First of all, the very modern decoration of this beautiful hotel restaurant is magnificent, from the entrance to the open kitchen, all overlooking a beautiful bar located upstream. Tables for two, but also group tables and even private rooms are available. Next, it's obvious that the chef is very creative and seeks to invent - and let's encourage him for this - both visually and in terms of flavor combinations. Nevertheless, the result is sometimes up to scratch, sometimes not, and I'm talking about taste, because the presentations are always well done. When you overcomplicate, the result is not always consistent ... and sometimes pasty or with original flavors but not necessarily "tasty". But whatever the cuisine, in the end, it has to be tasty. The wine list, however, is disastrous, with no choice, even less by the glass, and obviously no sommelier, which is a shame for this type of restaurant. The service is not very experienced, although it does its utmost, and here again, a colorful explanation of each dish would be necessary, as the menu is almost incomprehensible from the point of view of dishes and flavor combinations. We wish you...

The restaurant is being widely promoted on instagram and the pictures are really attracting. In reality the interior and the food look beautiful indeed. However problems start if it comes to the service and taste of certain meals. Service: the waiter wasn’t proactive enough when we didn’t know what to order as the titles in menu are pretty ambiguous and you don’t really know what’s meant under, say,” cukierki”(candies) being dumplings etc. I understand the concept of unusual names but the waiter should proactively support during the ordering process then and not wait till the question is asked and then be silent again. One of the glasses had stains on it that is normally unacceptable but it had been changed immediately when reported that is good.
Wine selection service was really nice and the Lady who was responsible for it did a great job.
Food: pumpkin, and zander were really tasty. Candies had too thick dough. Sturgeon with caramel and cucumber was really interesting with different textures and tastes however not really matching each other. Dessert: “cloud” was ok.
In my opinion there are still things to be improved to make it an amazing place, as beautiful design and concept...
