I had a feeling this place was going to be good. It lived up to and surpassed my expectations.
As an American in Warsaw, the staff here speaks enough English to help you out and even has an English menu. Once you order, you get a cute little onion with your number on it and select a seat.
And those seats...if you sit on the second story, you're treated to an awesome view, both inside and out. A TV screen shows interesting videos of the restaurant's dishes being prepared and entertains you while you wait for a little bit. Outside is the bustling city of Warsaw.
And then the food comes. Wow, these are some of the best burgers I've ever had. The meat tastes healthy. The meat tastes like it's doing your body a favor. If you like burgers and are in Warsaw, you are doing yourself a disservice if you don't come here.
And the flavors added to the meat are incredible as well. I got the blue burger and my husband got the jalapeno. He says if he could give it six stars out of five, he would. I concur.
Now, the food is a little bit messy, but they provide you with knife and fork and napkins, should you need them. Many good burgers are messy. And somehow this burger manages to be messy while avoiding being branded as something greasy and unhealthy. It's delicious. It's wholesome. Why don't we have this in America??
I would come back to Warsaw just for this burger and the other dishes...

Read moreI had Miedzy Bulkami on my todo list ever since I saw it high in one of the many burger rankings in Warsaw. We finally visited for a quick lunch. The interior is pretty neat, nicely decorated and we stayed downstairs at the window with a view on the street. Sadly ventilation is not nearly as good as it should be, and the whole space carries a distinct smell of frying---worse on the upper floor---which is my main complaint against it.
We took two burgers, one spicy and one “Polish” with mushrooms. I liked the latter---nicely balanced, good tasting and the bun was just right, distinct, solid but not overwhelming. My companion complained her burger should’ve had a stronger taste and spicing, so if that’s your expectation, you’ll likely be better served elsewhere.
Service is efficient and generally pleasant, if sometimes a bit artificially so. They do make an active effort to improve though, handing out surveys with every order and reminding to fill them in and return, which we happily did.
If not for the smell, I’d give a full 4, but I’m positive they’ll...
