An amazing place that any indian food lover should visit. This is a somehow small restaurant in the center of Warsaw, but pretty hidden in a somehow secondary street. However, no other indian I've visited in this city can compete with this one in terms of food quality. I visited this place with a friend of mine randomly, as we didn't know where to go and have lunch. I was mentioned about this restaurant and I decided to visit it. We had a simple lunch, with rice, coco curry with cheese pieces, and lamp with lightly spicy sauce...but everything tasted so nicely! We spent less than 40 zloty per person, with water as only drink, which I would say it's average in price but amazing in terms of quality/price ratio. I'm really carving to go and visit it again, as the menu seemed huge and delicious, and it was very difficult to choose a single dish. My friend is usually very difficult to please when going to a restaurant, and she is also willing to come again, as she loved it. The menu is in English, so no problem for foreigners, and the waiters can also speak and understand English, being really attentive and educated. If I had to complain about something, seeing that a bottle of water was more expensive than a rice dish was somehow weird, but probably not a weird thing in current days, I guess. Overall, a place I will truly recommend to indian food lovers and for those who want tasty food in average quantity and with quality ingredients. Thanks,...
Read moreThis place is horrible! Aside from the rude service we received from a guy waiter, the place smelled like gas masala!! The masala spices cooking steam was all the way to the entrance! We stayed 5 mins, and our hair and clothes stunk of this place! Apparently they don’t have a vent or even consideration to fixing this disgusting issue!! Because of this horrendous smell, we asked to be seated in the third seating area where we thought we can escape the cooking smell! Our guy waiter rudely told us there is a meeting there, and when I looked there was only a small family with children sitting in the corner, and about ten or fifteen tables free next to them! This waiter guy must be fired! Rude, inflexible, and a plain idiot!!!! We obviously looked like a group of tourists visiting Warsaw and the least he could have done is accommodate to us!! Was it really difficult to say yes please I’ll arrange the table absolutely no problem!! I should’ve gotten his name! In India people have amazing welcoming manners, and he has none of that! And off course he ruined our evening, and we just left the restaurant in the middle of it raining outside! Plain idiot! Please avoid this place at all cost unless you want to smell like a skunk on...
Read moreWhen it comes to Namaste India, I visited multiple times. It was worst experience during last two visits to this restaurant. The starters were not properly cooked and the dishes were different than what we ordered. They are adding service charge on a bill of 2 adults and a child. This service charge is for very unprofessional and rude service. When It comes to behaviour of waiters, it seems like you are visiting the restaurant for free food (for which you are paying extra in terms of service charge). We were carrying baby stroller and restaurant staff was not able to accommodate it inside. These are few things I listed here out of many. This is not at all a family friendly restaurant and one should not visit them with family. Personally I would never recommend them to anyone for such really bad experience which will ruin your evening with family out of no comfort. I am not going to visit them again in future. It was seriously very...
