I recently visited this breakfast cafe located in a trendy neighborhood, close to the river and the university. The area was bustling with activity, and the cafe itself was no exception - it was busy when I arrived. The service was friendly and efficient, which made for a pleasant experience.

The decor is simple, and the seating arrangement in the middle is a bit unusual with the long table, but it does offer a chance to interact with others nearby. One unique aspect is that there's a shop next door that you can access through the cafe.

Now, onto the food. The omelette was a standout - delicious and satisfying. However, the French toast was a bit disappointing. The grapefruit added an unexpected acidic flavor that didn't quite fit the traditional French toast profile. It felt a bit off. Additionally, the juice could have been much better if it had been strained to remove any fruit bits or pulp. It detracted from the overall enjoyment.

We had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at Sam’s recently. The food was fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care—but what truly made the experience shine was the exceptional service.

Our waitress, a lovely red-haired woman, was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with such warmth and kindness that it instantly set a positive tone for the morning. She was attentive without being overbearing, and had a natural way of making everyone feel genuinely welcome.

It’s rare to find someone who brings such light and sincerity to their role. She wasn’t just doing her job—she clearly enjoyed making people feel looked after, and it showed in every interaction.
