Santa Catrina is an absolute gem in the heart of Warsaw, and it's without a doubt the best Mexican restaurant I've had the pleasure of visiting. From the moment I stepped through its doors, I was transported to the vibrant and colorful world of Mexico.

The authenticity of Santa Catrina is unmatched. Not only does the restaurant offer a taste of Mexico on the plate, but the entire experience feels like a genuine Mexican fiesta. The menu is a culinary journey through Mexico, with dishes that burst with flavor, showcasing the rich tapestry of Mexican cuisine. From the spicy and flavorful tacos to the mouthwatering enchiladas, every bite is a true delight for the taste buds.

What truly sets Santa Catrina apart, though, is its Mexican staff. The team is not only incredibly friendly but also remarkably professional. They are passionate about sharing the authentic flavors of Mexico and are always ready to provide recommendations and answer any questions you may have. Their warm hospitality creates a welcoming and inviting atmosphere that makes every visit a memorable experience.

To enhance the ambiance, Santa Catrina features Mexican music that adds a lively and festive touch to the dining experience. It's impossible not to tap your feet to the rhythm and get into the spirit of Mexico while savoring your meal.

For those who appreciate a good tequila, Santa Catrina is a haven. They boast an impressive selection of tequilas, and their knowledgeable staff can guide you in choosing the perfect one to complement your meal or to enjoy as a standalone treat. It's a tequila lover's dream come true.

The location of Santa Catrina in Powiśle couldn't be more perfect. This trendy area in Warsaw is buzzing with energy, and Santa Catrina fits right in with its lively and inviting atmosphere. Whether you're coming for a romantic date night, a celebration with friends, or a casual dinner, Santa Catrina offers the ideal setting for any occasion.

In summary, Santa Catrina is a culinary treasure in Warsaw that truly captures the essence of Mexico. With its authentic Mexican cuisine, friendly and professional staff, lively ambiance, and outstanding tequila selection, it's a must-visit for anyone seeking an unforgettable Mexican dining experience. Santa Catrina has undoubtedly earned its reputation as the best Mexican restaurant in Warsaw, and I can't wait to return for more...

I went to have a Mexican dinner with my friend at this place and at the beginning, we were impressed by the cool decoration and Mexican memorabilia. We ordered 3 corona beers, nachos with guacamole as appetizer, carnitas and burrito as a main dish and a quesadillas for the grand shocking total of 191 pln (40 euros). It was an outrageous and scandalous price for a Mexican dinner. It's not like they were serving caviar with champagne and fine wine. We truly felt taken advantage of and ripped off, especially when I asked the waitress for recommendations and I got the feeling that she directed us to the most expensive dishes. Dishes which were average but the quesadillas were definitely mediocre as well as the carnitas (colorless shredded meat) with tiny sizes of sauces.

A very disappointing experience and one that I would advise to avoid like the plague. The restaurant management should seriously reconsider lowering these exorbitant prices or else they risk becoming irrelevant in the Warsaw restaurant scene, unless they are focusing on making a quick buck from naive customers like me who will certainly never come back again and advise others not to even try it due to the outrageous fees they charge for mediocre and...

The atmosphere is lively and colorful – definitely not the kind of place to sit back and relax, but it’s fun, welcoming, and full of energy.

The staff is friendly, though you can sense they’re a bit stressed, which makes you feel like you need to order quickly.

The bar is a 10/10 and the snacks/starters are also fantastic – fresh, flavorful, and really well done.

Unfortunately, the main dishes don’t live up to the same standard. The meat was dry, the recipes felt pretty average, and overall it leaned more toward generic Tex-Mex rather than authentic Mexican. Nothing particularly memorable here.

Overall, it’s a nice spot – a bit overpriced for what you get, but still worth a visit for the drinks, starters, and...

We arrived as a group of five for a late dinner, the hosts were very kind and friendly, and we soon found a table to be sit at. We ordered several dishes which were all splendid: Totopos con Frijoles y Queso (with nachos that are made by the restaurant kitchen), Plato Poblano (an interesting and balanced combination of chocolate and jalapeno), and Sopa Azteca (an amazing tomato spicy soup that we couldn't stop eating). The restaurant is artfully decorated, a great atmosphere and friendly service. The food is made by a Mexican chef, that is producing authentic and tasty dishes. We are all looking forward to our next visit. Also, there is a fold dance lesson on Friday at 19, we have pointed ourselves to be there next time.
