We have just eaten there and the waiter didn't seem very happy to serve us. Firstly, I asked for the offers at lunchtime in English and he said that he didn"t have them in English. "For you only the menu in English" He didn't explain to us that we could order a soup and a main course. When we realized that we could do it, we ordered it and he said that it was too late. However, some people who came later than we ordered the soup and the main course and there was no problem for them. We couldn't order the soup because it was too late but other clients could do it without any problems. Perhaps, he didn't speak English properly but there were younger waiters who could speak English perfectly and could have attended to us in a good and polite way. Of course, there were no tips for the waiter because of the service we received. The other waiters must know why we didn't give any tips and, if I were them, I would speak with him. Three months ago I shared my first impressions of this restaurant, hidden well off Warsaw’s tourist trails. I’d spotted a few locals smoking outside, took a chance, and was blown away: superb service and pork ribs that easily scored a solid 9/10. What really struck me was that the place clearly caters to locals, meaning the Polish food feels genuinely authentic.

This week I came back to Warsaw with my wife and, of course, headed straight here again. We focused on starters and salads this time—and they were outstanding. I’ve honestly never tasted beef tongue this tender, and both the herring and potato pancakes were nothing short of exceptional. My wife was just as impressed: dishes arrived quickly, looked appetizing, and the portions were generous.

Not a crowded restaurant. I came here since the rating is 4 but turn out not worth a 4 star, i can give max 2 star. We sit and order a dumpling, soup and pork ribs. After we wait for 5 or 10 mt they served bread which not bad but not exceptional as well. And after that we wait for another 30mts before we decided to ask where is our food. The waiter checked and said that there is an error on the kitchen and our order is lost. For a quite restaurant this is unacceptable, only 3 customers other than us, the waiters just standing without even checking that there is a customer not having their food for the last 30mt or so. The waiter asked us to wait another 20mt for the order to be process and give us a 50% discount.
