What a lovely pearl we found! It's such a lovely small café, the interior recreates the atmosphere of a Cosy mountain chalet. Yet, the best part is the service, the coffee and the food. We have been served by this super nice waitress (unfortunately, I can't recall the name, she was blonde and smiley) who was really helpful and kind and I had such an interesting conversation with her about coffee brewing techniques 🙂(mainly I was suggesting to add Chemex among the choices) I took an Ario V60 that was perfectly brewed with Mexico coffee paired with it and it was just delicious, the coffee is indeed specialty there! My wife instead took a Nutella cappuccino that was really delicious. With the coffees we took a sernik (not only it was good, it was fresh! Which is something that unfortunately it's not that easy to find) and a tart with salted caramel (very good as well). We liked the place so much thst we decided we want to go back to try their breakfast menù that looks really delicious! There is quite a lot of competitors around the center but me and my wife we decided that Kraj Coffee is our favorite and we will support it coming back anytime we can and spreading the voice about this...
Read moreI have visited this cafe a couple of times. It is mainly visited by people from Belarus and Ukraine, and the owners are Belarusians. However, the service staff not only do not speak Belarusian language but also cannot even recognize it. They communicate only in Russian and poor Polish.
I visited this cafe to support a place founded by Belarusians and representing itself as Belarusian. However, I was surprised and disappointed to find that there was no menu for Belarusian-speaking visitors. Even more frustratingly, the staff corrected me three times into Russian, not realizing that I was speaking Belarusian, just to understand what kind of coffee I was ordering. It felt as if they were making a joke at my expense…
I’d be happy to visit again this good and cosy place when I can order a dish in the...
Read moreThere was only one food menu available and it took over 30 minutes to receive our drinks after paying. One of our group of 5 had finished their breakfast before they received their drink, but one of our group had to wait over an hour for a waffle with a bit of salmon on it. There was no communication about the wait (not even to the native Polish speaker in our group) and only the slightest apology to the guy who had waited over an hour. The food and drink itself was mostly ok (matcha latte was pretty lumpy) but definitely spoilt by the poor service. Looking at the other reviews maybe it was a one off? Either way I wish we hadn't spent so much time here on our last day in Poland and had just given up and...
