This place doesn’t even deserve one star. I had the worst dining experience of my life here. Regarding the FOOD: The quality of the food was not good. The hotpot soup was unbelievably salty, and an employee claimed it was made from some kind of paste mixed with water. I ordered chicken broth as the base soup, but it was excessively salty. In the end, I spent around 115 Polish zloty and left half the food untouched because it was not edible. Regarding the EMPLOYEE: When I complained about the salty soup, the employee asked if I was Chinese. I said I was not—I am Taiwanese, from Taiwan. However, she insisted and argued that Taiwanese are considered Chinese. I had to explain repeatedly that this was not true. Eventually, the argument, combined with my dissatisfaction with the meal, escalated into a heated dispute. In frustration, I finally said, “I am also an American. Do you want to see my passport?” to prove that I AM NOT CHINESE. Unfortunately, the owner ignored the context of our conversation and accused me of being “racist” based on CCTV footage of me offering to show my passport. Is this how people manipulate situations to control the narrative? What began as an unpleasant dining experience turned into a horrible political confrontation—something I never imagined could happen when stepping into this...
Read moreI don't know what they serve, but that's not food. Tried the Malatang, I suspect they served instant soup and somehow managed to make it worse. Żabka has way better meals for a fraction of the price.
The waitress advised not to take the mild (łagodny) soup because "it's water and salt, to avoid any allergies". I've never heard such advice in a "restaurant", but I appreciated the honesty. Maybe better take this option off the menu or start using a Knorr/Winiary product. The alternatives were barely edible anyway. The "sausage" was "parówki" and it was the most familiar sight.
Dim sum were ok-ish but again without much flavour.
We finished the drinks, left and went to eat somewhere else, in disbelief. Intentionaly avoided any arguing with the owner because frankly I would start questioning why did they even start a business. Two soups consisting in hot water and (a bit) of salt, two asian beers, one dim sum dish: 167 pln.
The perfect place if you want to experience a scam. I'm sorry for the...
Read moreThis is the worst hotpot restaurant ever.
The waitress was somewhat rude and was hardly speaking any languages. The Malatang ingredients were undercooked, with the fish ball served cold and the vegetables still fresh. Moreover they charged 8 PLN for sauce, yet didn't offer even basic options like oyster sauce - It’s maybe they do not understand Polish nor English language. Communicating with this Ukrainian lady was a challenge for us. Chinese lady as well.
It wasn’t just us who faced issues. the couple behind us encountered even more problems. They received the wrong menu and waited 30 minutes, only to be denied a refund because the restaurant claimed it wasn't their fault(WHAT?). Believe me. Any miscommunication here will be your problem and your fault. This place doesn’t know the common sense. I can not believe that i spent 200zl in such place. The level of service/food here is just...
