The one thing I can say is that here I tried the best tapas in my life. The food is just great, delicious, beautiful, served in cozy nice plates. It is also extremely cheap in comparison to all other tapas-places I've ever been. I was surprised to read negative reviews, especially those mentioning problems with service/rudeness etc. The woman who was a waitress that night was super nice and friendly with us, gave some recommendations on what to order and do on. She also, as I notices, had great patience because there was a couple of extremely annoying men in the place, loud, rude, disrespectful to her and to everyone else, and she handled it well, with dignity and respect. If it would be up to me, I would just kick them out because of how unbearable they were but she found her way to manage it. I appreciate it and I don't believe that this place -- with amazing and chill Reggie vibe -- can bring anyone "bad service" experience. Thank you again for the great time we had at your place! I highly recommend to have dinner at Taberna do Arco to everyone...

A little nice surprise as I was expecting just an average experience and was very positively proved wrong. The place is tiny - book in advance - but this add to the cosiness. The staff is reduced but usually enough for the space, just take it as a family thing - and you're invited to their table. The plates are nicely sized, 2-3 would suffice to everyone but the hungriest of people and the flavour is actually very good - the alheira is to die for, as were the migas and the batatas rústicas. I found the 2 shrimp offerings too similar to both deserve a place on the menu but the serving had so many shrimps, I got a lot to eat! At the end, you can even have a barley coffee (very old schol, so reasonably priced!) and a very cheap and very tasty dessert (it's small but no one needs 500g of sweets at the end) and a free ginjinha (licqour from the Óbidos region). Great value for money, great setting, will be back. (the only thing that seems out of the place is reggae music playing, when the whole place has the vibe of my...

This was one of the best meals we ever had! We ordered garlic shrimps, spicy shrimps, green beans, roasted fries, rustica fries, tuna sandwich and pork steak for kids and the food was one better that the other! It’s enough to say that my younger daughter usually doesn’t eat meat because she dislikes it,but she ate the pork steak within 30 seconds. Also, the house wine (we drank the white one) was excellent and the service is at high level. If we ever go back to Aveiro, this is most definately our first...

My favourite place to eat in Aveiro 🙌 In Arco you can eat portuguese “petiscos” a concept where you order more than one small dish to share with others :) Everything I tried so far is delicious but I recommend the spicy shrimp and the clams. Last time I went we were 2 and ate 4 dishes plus bread, and we paid approx. 12 per person including 4 beers in total. If you’re new to Aveiro this is a place you must to eat (Does NOT accept MBWay or payments by card, cash only)

First of all, the dishes are really affordable and delicious. A great Taberna to experience portuguese tapas. We ordered quite a lot and one dish in particular (Carne de Porco à Alentejana) comes with big portion for two people. The owner gave us a warm suggestion to take it as half portion, however it is large enough for 2 people and delicious (the price is super cheap). My warm recommendation is the Ginja. It tastes much better than the ones at touristic hotspots.
