Upon entering the restaurant the atmosphere was just great. The waiter was very nice and helpful. I realize it is hard to service a table of 9 to take all plates out at the same time, this might be the biggest reason for the long wait time and maybe also the quality of some of the food. I did not plan to post a negative reivew since I prefer to post reviews only with positive things and just ignore negative issues, however since your reply to my brother as attached, I prefer to clarify some points:
The same day we were there, as show in attached picture another customer complained about wait times.
A lot of food was not eaten because:
A. My daughter feel asleep waiting for so long for her steak. B. My son Salmon tasted like it might be spoiled, I also could not eat it. C. I just could not eat the fish since the taste was strange for me. I am not going to eat something that disgusts me.
Of course if we pay so much money for food we prefer to eat it, but I was afraid to even get sick from the Salmon, my daughter was just sleeping, and my plate I prefer not to write my opinion about it any more.
And why mention people are starving in the world?
I do not understand why you mention the fact that we are from Israel. And if we were from China or India or any other place it would matter? What it matters where we come from?
I eat mostly International food and not Israeli food.
Even if some customer is arrogant, there is no reason for you to mention it.
Why would my brother want to ruin the name of your business? The absolute only thought in his head is he feels like he is contributing to the world by improving what he thinks is what should be your Google score ranking to help others reach thier best decision.
My brothers son is a Chef, he had to show everyone in the table a picture of medium well / medium / medium rare steaks how it should look, since we received all steaks as medium well, and we did not order...
Read moreIts a bit hidden, easy to pass by, but a truly gem! While passing by, we got surprise by how good a dish that was being served at a table looked like, and decided to check the menu. We got the best “problem”! Too many good options and it was really hard to choose between them! I really recommend the full experience! With appetizers, main dish and desert, if a wine is together, even better! We ate as entrance the croquetas and also the ceviche. I think the only comment about the ceviche is that it was a bit too acid… who knows ceviche, knows that you should expect some acidity, but in this case was a tiny little too much for my taste. The main dishes were the octopus with sweet potato purê (wonderful! Im still wondering how im going to try to repeat it at home), and the duck with citric risotto, which was very balanced and well served. The deserts were also wonderful! All the available options (as we tried all). I need to give a special compliment to the service! Marcio, the waiter did a wonderful job and delivered a service at a high end restaurant level, i’ve had such unexpected great experiences very few times in life! The price is fair considering the atmosphere, service and quality of the food, which summing all together i think it is a wonderful cost benefit! It was with no doubt the best unexpected surprise of the evening! Im really glad we saw by chance the plate being served and decided to...
Read moreOne warm evening, while walking through the streets of Cascais, I stepped into a restaurant by chance. What was supposed to be just a simple dinner turned into a real discovery.
🦆 Duck and Magret Croquettes were the chef’s compliment and set the tone for the night. Crispy outside and tender inside, they carried the rich flavor of duck magret, lifted by a touch of dill oil. The stracciatella added creaminess and freshness, making this starter feel refined and elegant.
🐟 Tuna Zen continued the light introduction. Fresh tuna with a citrus spark of ponzu tasted clean and bright, while the crispy leek gave a pleasant contrast. Minimalistic yet full of character, it showed the beauty of simplicity.
🐟 Spring Salmon was all about delicacy. Cooked perfectly, the salmon was soft and airy, melting in the mouth like a cloud. The confit vegetables added gentle sweetness, while the French mustard sauce tied everything together with a graceful touch.
🐙 Octopus at Sea became the highlight of the evening. Firm yet silky, the octopus glazed in oyster sauce carried the depth of the sea, balanced by the gentle sweetness of sweet potato purée. It was the kind of dish that defines the whole dinner — the moment you remember.
What started as a casual stop ended as one of those special evenings to keep — a dinner full of harmony, flavors, and a memory I shared...
