I lack the words to describe how amazing my experience was here. I had Pani-Puri and Mixed Fried Momo and their Gulab Jamun with Yogurt.

The Pani-Puri is something I've never even heard of before, the waitress asked if it was my first time and then explained how to eat it, essentially to put some of the flavoured water into the ball and place the whole thing in your mouth before crunching down. The blast of flavour was incredible, I could have ate these all day.

For Momo I got the mixed fried Momo. In hindsight I wish I had gotten the steamed, while the fried was nice i felt the steamed would have been better. As for the insides, the mixed features 3 of each Vegan, Pork, Chicken and Buffalo. The Buffalo was by far the best. If I were to ever return I'd be getting steamed buffalo mo:mo. The others were good. I expected pork to be my favourite, it usually is, but it has less flavour than the others. Finally, I am not really a dessert person, but the food being this good and there only being two dessert options I had to give it a try, usually few options means better! Indeed it was. The other dessert was out of stock so I had the Gulab Jamun with Yogurt, another knock out the park, it was truly incredible. So much flavour.

Staff were extremely nice, made recommendations and even explained how to eat the food for best experience. In the end the card machine broke which had me worried (no cash and the ATMs here charge extortionate fees!) but I waited it out and it started working again.

Atmosphere was very...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Mani's mo:mo & Restaurant, in Faro, and I must say, it was an absolute culinary delight! This charming Nepali gem surpassed all my expectations and left me craving for more. First and foremost, let's talk about the star of the show: the vegan steamed momos. These delightful dumplings were perfection, with a delicate, thin wrapper and a flavorful filling that made my mouth water with every bite. Apart from the sensational momos, the menu at Mani's mo:mo & Restaurant offered a wide variety of delectable dishes that showcased the rich flavors of Nepali cuisine. The chefs' expertise in combining fresh, locally sourced ingredients with authentic Nepali spices truly made the flavors come alive. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, reflecting the warmth and hospitality of the Nepali culture. The staff members were friendly, knowledgeable, and more than happy to offer suggestions and answer any questions about the menu. Their passion for vegan cuisine shone through their attentive service, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, my experience at the Mani's mo:mo & Restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. The flavors, the presentation, and the friendly service combined to create a memorable dining experience that I will cherish. Whether you're a vegan or simply curious about exploring Nepali cuisine, I highly recommend this restaurant. Don't miss out on their incredible vegan steamed momos - they alone are...

After arriving at Albufeira my group of friends and I were desperately craving some yummy authentic nepali food as I know Portugal has a small but growing Nepalese population. We tried Mani’s restaurant as it was one of the only ones that came up on google and we are beyond glad we found them!! The owners are such welcoming and lovely people and their food tasted freaking amazingggg absolutely no complaints whatsoever! Every dish we had tasted 2 was close to perfection!! If you’re new to Nepali food we recommend you try their chicken momo, fried rice, chilli chicken or chilli pork, chow mein, chatpate (a spicy street food -make sure you clarify your level of spice tolerance!) and or dhal bhat… 10/10 hit the spot! It was so good we came back the next day because no other restaurants could compare to the savoury spicy flavours of authentic nepali food (no offence to other cuisines or the local Portuguese food we had already tried lots of great Portuguese food in Lisbon up untill that point and was just craving something familiar). Anyway you won’t regret visiting this place, every meal is also very reasonably priced, you could have a feast for 4 people for under 50/60 euros with...
