Wir wurden hier sehr freundlich begrüßt. Auch wenn wir bei unserem ersten Besuch nur etwas trinken wollten. Das Ambiente in dieser Gasse und das Tischgedeck ist sehr ansprechend. Wir haben hier auch sehr gutes Lendensteak und Thunfischsteak gegessen. Von diesem familiengeführten Restaurant waren wir immer wieder begeistert. Auch wenn der Tag bestimmt lange war, hat die Chefin des Hauses jederzeit für nette Gespräche ein offenes Ohr. Einfach toll, hier zählt noch der Mensch Und an diesem Punkt möchten wir auch sagen, dass wir tausendmal lieber unsere genussvollen Momente hier verbracht haben. Im Gegensatz zu Restaurants für welche Bewertungen auf Social-Media Kanälen abgegeben werden, nur um Like's zu sammeln. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank für eure herzliche Bedienung.

Very friendly service and pleasant atmosphere. Excellent clams in creamy sauce, fantastic octopus salad, delicious cod with fried banana. Proper fish soup and sangria. DO NOT order seafood pasta - it was reheat in microwave and the seafood mix had been frozen.

A review in English for the benefit of tourists:

A lovely family-run restaurant, always friendly and I'm always greeted with warm smiles. My family and I have been coming here for several years and the quality of food is always very good (parabéns ao chefe! 😊)

Also, they are open all day on Saturdays, which is not usual for Funchal (many places shut at 1pm). Very reasonably priced too. Definitely recommended!

Came here on our last evening. A quiet back street tucked away. Very friendly lady server with a smile. Both ordered pork in Madeira sauce with potatoes and vegetables that makes a lovely change from chips & salad. Beautifully presented and accompanied by a bottle of house white.
