Flair Spot Bar — Restaurant in Funchal

This is a must try in Madeira, especially if you love cocktails. The atmosphere is nice, seating indoor and outdoor, there’s a lovely mural in front of the bar along the strip. The music is really good, oldie but goodie tunes. The staff is amazing, made feel welcome and very attentive. We stumbled into this bar in the old part of Funchal, and were amazed at the number of cocktails/drinks proposed: 150!!! We ordered a few and they were very good, although the alcohol amount was a bit pale. The waiter was very helpful but it took a it too long to get our 5 drinks out. We also ordered cheese nachos, but I would suggest that they should offer more free appetizers to go with the drinks. Nice place and staff were very friendly and smiley but the cocktails weren't great. My first one was an old fashioned, which, if you know your cocktails, takes a good 10 minute's to make, mine arrived after a about 3-4 mins and had the biggest peice of ice I've ever seen in a cocktail, so very little actual drink. Next i tried a long island ice tea, which is a very strong drink, but mine just tasted like a slightly strong coke. So, nice place, shame...
