BRILLIANT WEE EATERY! This place is exactly what's good about Madeira. A smart eatery offering great sandwiches, superb cakes and good coffee. And the service is as good as you can get. It is also a great place to people-watch from! I had a sweet croissant covered with icing and almonds, a large latte and an icy-cold can of coke. The bill was 6.80 euros. Absolutely tremendous experience. Highly recommended when in Funchal.

First visit to this café on what Tima calls Restaurant St. We've had a few meals on this street. Popped in for post shopping drinks. Food in excellent value and menu of the day about 6.50€. Madge on a large Coral and Tima on a mixed fruit cidre. Lots of outdoor seating under a sun shade. Getting a nice breeze. Good, friendly service. Drink and watch the world go by.

We visited Madeira for the first time in September 2023 and found this wonderful place on our first day. The food was always very delicious and well made, and it's definitely a place to try some poncha or enjoy (as we did) one of 3 different kinds of cool sangria on a hot day! The prices are very affordable, but what really makes Padaria da Familia great are the people working there. Emanuel and Miguel were the best! Definitely visit Padaria da Familia when...

We have been to Madeira several times, it keeps getting better. The addition of Padaria day Familia is a great one. Superb bakery and pastries, friendly, easy staff, very fresh made snacks, main meals and more. Fresh punch. Miguel, the owner is friendly and informative without being in your face. It can offer a true taste of Madeira fight in the centre of the city at prices...
