My girlfriend and I opted for a simple yet satisfying meal, ordering two sandwiches, a bottle of water, and a plate of Kalamari with fries, rice, and salad. We went here for lunch on recommendation from the captain of the Santa Maria de Colombo. The place was packed with local workers on their lunch break.

Our waitress was friendly and spoke English well. When I told her that I was gluten free, she understood perfectly and adviced me well.

Exploring the back streets in the old town and came across Vera Cruz. Lots of locals enjoying themselves. Sat for beer then looked at menu of the day. I had pork chops with potato, rice and salad.
